We would like to take a moment to discuss the ongoing events surrounding COVID-19 and what Vito Services is doing to help keep the people of our community safe and healthy.
Because Vito Services is a Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning company, we have been deemed an “Essential Service”. That means the government feels that if our services were to be interrupted, it could potentially endanger the life, health or safety of the people in our community. So, our offices will remain open and our crews will continue to serve your needs and those of our community.
We take your health and safety, along with the health and safety of our team, extremely seriously. Your well-being is our top priority at Vito Services. We understand the concern about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being both responsive and responsible to our customers and staff.
We would like to thank everyone who is diligently working to contain the virus and share that we are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control to ensure we are taking necessary health and safety precautions. We would like to provide an update on our current operations and plan for service to our customers.
If an employee or family member is not feeling well, we have asked that they consult with their physician and remain at home. In addition to hand washing, wearing gloves and face masks, and practicing safe social distancing, we are sanitizing all vehicles and equipment after each service call. We also no longer have our technicians coming into our main office and instead dispatch them from their homes directly to you to remove any unnecessary individual contact.
We have trained our entire call center to ask important screening questions such as: “Is anyone in your home currently sick” and “has anyone in your home knowingly been exposed to the coronavirus?” If any customer responds in a manner of concern, we’ll let them know that now is not the best time for us to service their home.
We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing and wanted to let you know that safety and cleanliness will remain a top priority. These are things that we all can and must do in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and help our community stay healthy and safe.
We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and continued support. Maintaining your trust during this uncertain time is a responsibility we take very seriously and on behalf of our entire team, we thank you for your continued support and for allowing us to serve you and our community. We wish you and your family all the best in these very trying times.
We do understand the financial impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on our community, which is why we temporarily waived all service fees. We are still offering that 10% discount to any essential healthcare workers.
