Vito Services is a proud partner of the Lead Pipe Replacement Assistance Program (LPRAP) in Washington, DC.
First, check out the lead map to confirm there is lead pipe on private property and non-lead in public space. The map will have a GREEN/GRAY circle on your property if you are eligible for this program.
If you believe the map is inaccurate, take photos of the pipe material at point of entry and email [email protected].
If the private portion of the service pipe on your property is lead or galvanized, and the public portion is not lead, you could be eligible for the LPRAP program. Contact Vito Services to find out if you qualify for assistance to remove the lead pipes from your property.

In order to complete the application for lead services you will need to attach a scan or photo of the following:
- Quote for work from Vito Services, which will include the length of the pipe, the pipe material, and a picture of the entry point.
- Household’s most recent DC Water bill.
- Property owner’s photo identification.
- Proof of property ownership.
- Proof of income for each member of the household (if you are seeking approval for the income-eligible program).

Income Guidelines for Assistance
While every property owner with a partial lead service line can receive Standard Assistance, regardless of income, households below 100% Area Median Income (AMI) will qualify for Income-Eligible Assistance. The table below provides the dollar figures for each program’s income limits by household size:
