Responded to call about a clogged sink in silver spring, md: Examined area of concern by customer. Kitchen drain is clogged, per customer. Drainline undersink dismantled prior to my arrival today. Gave customer investment option to restore flow in area. Ran approximately 30ft of cables through drainline and felt clog at multiple points inside drain. Pulled cables back to reveal hair and black gunk. Reassembled drainline undersink and noticed trap has a hole in it. Made customer aware and gave customer investment option to replace. Customer agreed. Installed new trap and tested drain. Drain backed up quickly. Drained sink and ran approximately 45ft of drain cables through drainline. Pulled cables back and front 4 cables are covered in black gunk. Smelled gunk and it does not smell acidic. Spoke to customer regarding gunk and he states no liquid drain cleaner has been used in area. At this time, I believe drainline underground may be corroded/broken. Respond to call for AC Condensenat Pump Line blockage: I arrived and checked the condensate pump found won't shut off runs all the time, found blocked condensate discharge line, cleared blocked line with galo gun, checked operation pump is working fine now. AC maintenance on three units in northwest washington dc: #1 Basement. I checked the 14201 filter and replaced with one customer provided. indoor blower wheel motor housing okay blower amps are okay. I checked the AC coil found okay I did noticed some fungal growth cultivating. I checked the condensate line that goes down to a condensate pump and flushed it with a gallon of water. I added condensate tablets I checked all wirings and connections all limits and safeties okay I got to return air temperature of 73 and a supply air temperature of 54. I checked the outdoor condenser coil found okay I checked the capacitor and contactor both intact and okay the outdoor air temperature was 72 the discharge temperature was 81. this unit is running and cooling as of now. #2 Package unit outside. I also checked the 14x20x1 filter and replaced with one customer provided I take the outdoor temperature 72 and I took the discharge temperature and got 82. I checked the capacitor found oka

AC Checkup in Dickerson, MD: Two Lennox HVAC Units Two Mitsubishi H.V.A.C. Units I checked the filter but they replaced day ago.I check indoor blower I check the indoor wheel compartment for any construction found none. I checked the blower capacitor it doesn't have any problem and still good. I checked the EVAP coil it looks clean. I checked the condensing line the water is flowing fine in the pipe. I just checked all wirings and connections found okay. I checked my delta TI got to return air temperature of 72" in supply air temperature of 54. For the another unit the delta TI go to return was 73.5 in the supply air temperature of 55.7and then I went to the outdoor condenser unit was okay. Then I checked the those two mini split they're working properly.

Call for leak under kitchen sink in Garrett Park, MD: Examined area of concern by customer. Customer states she has a small leak undersink in kitchen. Inspected area and can see dirty water marks on trap. Ran water for exuberant amount of time and eventually a drip produced. Tightened back trap nut and watched while water running. Call for non working garbage disposal in Northeast Washington DC NE: Arrived on site for a customer who says their dispsoal is not working after further inspection found out it was a clogged kitchen line. I then qouted the customer to snake line out and customer agreed and also joined our Vito VIP Plumbing plan while taking p trap apart found a lot of egg shells at the end of the p trap asked the customer if she puts egg shells and said yes today she used 6 eggs cleaned up trap and looked in side of the drain pop and found no more eggshells put p trap together and filled sink up twice and as of ticket completion no back ups occurred let customer know to not put egg shells down in the drain no more cleaned up work area and all work related materials thank you for choosing Vito.

Today, I arrived on site in NW Washington, DC, to perform cooling maintenance on a system with 3 zones. Here is a summary of my findings and recommendations: Zone 1 - Main house: System turns off before reaching the desired temperature on the thermostat. Checked condensate pump operations, which are functioning properly. Inspected the humidifier pad, which is clean and does not need replacement. Ductwork is free and clear of debris. Drain line is also free and clear of debris. Blower amps are within specifications. AC unit pressures, voltages, and amps are all within specifications. Unit needs a cleaning, but the owner will wait until it gets dirtier. Advised the owner against covering the AC unit to avoid potential damage. System is currently cooling properly. Zone 2: Replaced the filter and humidifier pad provided by the owner. Noticed a leak in the humidifier solenoid valve and three wires without wire nuts. Call for No AC and No Heat. Arrived at home in Gaithersburg, MD and found Lennox HVAC system; I just found the EZ trap was damaged.then I just replaced and checked the operation. I checked the filter but they replaced day ago. I inspected the indoor blower wheel and also check the indoor wheel compartment for any construction and found none. I checked the blower capacitor it doesn't have any problem and still good. I checked the EVAP coil it looks clean. I checked the condensing line the water is flowing fine in the pipe. I just checked all wirings and connections found okay. Responded to a call for a faulty sump pump in Takoma Park, MD: Sump pump had power and float was up, switched it out with a new Zoeller Sump Pump and it works well now. I also examined another other pump in another room and it's pit was full. At first I thought it was the same problem but after I confirmed power to the out let box through one socket I checked the other. Sump Pump Replacement Call in College Park, MD: Upon arrival of home I noticed that the pump in the pit was spitting water non stop. When the float is not engaged the pump will stop but this wasn't the case; the pump will need to be replaced. The customer asked if we could get the pump installed today since it was supposed to rain. I was able to get an emergency opening at the supply house for the required sump pump. I then returned to the home and replaced the faulty pump as the older Ridgid pump had burned out causing the pump to run constantly; this failure could have been caused by a bad check valve. the handles to the pump were rusted as well. the new pump is a cast iron Zoeller Sump Pump. Responded to an ERROR CODE 38 Code on HVAC unit in Rockville, Maryland. Upon arrival, I checked the last 10 events, which said there was excessive static pressure so I checked the blower motor housing and found that the insulation came off, which blocked the air flow. Once I put back on, I did an air flow verification, which came out to a positive 0.38 in, took out the safeties that was wired in to the communication line ABCD wired into the 24 volt circuit, checked washable filter all ok.
