I arrived at my customer home for outdoor unit iced up running and vibrating I defrost cold ice system still vibrating when running need to come back on a warm day it just too cold to check the pressure system is running on emergency heat will set the date and time to come back out to do a full system check .

I arrived at my customer home for gas furnace not performing properly I did a full system check and found system overheating gets hot shut down start back up when cools off return vents too small I recommend adding return grills for more air from the basement and a one system duct cleaning gas furnace working this time

Today, I arrived on site for a no heat boiler issue. Multiple leaks were found on the boiler. Water heater also showed signs of leaking. When the boiler attempted to start, a gurgling sound was heard. The condensate trap was clogged. A vacuum was used to unclog the condensate trap. The boiler is now on and running. The concentric kit was observed being slapped by the wing, causing the boiler to suck in its own fumes. Recommended adding an elbow to mitigate this issue. The boiler is currently heating at this time.

Clogged Kitchen Sink: customer notified us that there's kitchen sink was backing up. upon arrival I contacted the customer to get the customer a quote. the customer agreed with the price range for clearing the blockage from the sink. once on site the the customer advised me that the sink had been clogged since this morning. when I observed the sink the water level had decreased. I ran water to recreate the blockage. it took about 45 sec for the blockage to re occur. I notified the customer that I will began setting up my equipment and start snaking the drain. I went approximately 65ft with the k-50. I pulled back and tested the drain. ran water for about 10-15 min and no backups occured. when putting back the P-trap it was giving me a hard time to put back together. filled sink all the way up to the rim and allow the it to drain. as water was draining I checked for leaks no leaks , no backups . pack up equipment and left job site.

Thermostat Is Not Working: Upon arrival customer concerns Thermo Stat is not working. Checked voltage coming to tstat, getting 24 volts indicating Tstat should be working. Tstat is under warranty customer only need to pay labor to install Tstat along with dispatch fee. Will collect total ($300) after installing new Tstat. Showed customer how to temporarily work heat tell part comes in.

Performing Preventative Maintenance Plumbing Check today. Water pressure in home is 70psig steady. Water Heater is 6yrs old. Flushed water heater directly outside for duration of inspection in effort to remove built up sediment and minimize calcification buildup in tank. Minimal buildup removed from tank today. Basement bathroom is new and in good condition. Powder Room is good with no leaks. Both upstairs bathrooms are in good condition. Exercised all gate style stops in home. None leaked, all held. Gate style stops could use an upgrade to turn models. Kitchen area is in good shape. Performed Water Quality test in kitchen. Chlorine levels are low with a reading of 1.3ppm. pH is neutral with a reading of 7. Hardness level is HARD with a reading of 9GPG. Formulated investment option to combat Hard water effects in home. Customer has accepted options for future references. With exception of identified concerns, home is in good plumbing condition at this time. Thank you for choosing Vito!

08/15/2024 Examined area of concern by customer. Tub has standing water in it. Gave customer investment option to restore flow in area. Ran drain cables through drainline for approximately 25ft to clean entire branchline and restore flow in area. Difficulty getting through trap. Documented flow restoration. Customer made me aware of leaking toilet in same bathroom. Appears leak is coming from tank. Gave customer investment option to install new gasket between bowl and tank. Customer declined this task stating they can do it themselves. Cleaned tub area thoroughly and documented area. Flow is fully restored in tub at this time. Thank you for choosing Vito!
