Arrived at location for Backflow testing on make up water up in rooftop boiler room. Looking at the Backflow it’s a Rpz 2in watts Cleaned out all test port. Seems like test port number 2 needs to get changed out due to previous testing they open the turning point wider. But managed to get it. Tested cv1- 9psi, CV2- 1.7psi, RV-2.6psi. This indicates that’s the Backflow has passed the test and is working fine. Cleans up mess and tag the Backflow and left.

HVAC Fall Maintenance: Arrived. Need to Reschedule - Serious gas leak in basement I advised our client to call gas company to locate and due further investigation.
- Arrived onsite to assess the situation and valved off the existing system. - Removed the old pump and installed a new Grundfos pump. - Successfully bled air from the system lines. - Initiated the operation of the new pump and conducted a thorough functional check. - Confirmed that the pump is operating effectively. - The system has been configured to remove air from the lines to ensure optimal performance.
Arrived on site my customer at the front door she let me downstairs and show me her sump pump, which, according to the inspector was non operational. Ran the series of test and found the same thing gave her estimate on to replace the sump pump and she agreed took old sump pump out and put in new one. Had to redo the drain work for it since the float was getting stuck repeatedly on the sides of the walls of the basin Ran a series of test to make sure everything was all right and it is cut the basin cover so I could fit the sump pump in. I arrived at my customer home for one system heat maintenance outdoor temperature 59° at this time customer like his temperature set between 75 and 85° in the home customer do not have any replacement air filter at this time he will order air filter And replace it I noticed corrosion in the back of the thermostat. I remove battery from the thermostat and hardwire thermostat to air handler for power no wet switch on equipment dual capacitor getting weak. I recommend a replacement duct work needs to be clean coils need to be clean no surge protectors on the equipment Rheem heat pump system working at this time . I provide a proposal for repairs cleaning of the system customer will review proposal.
Arrived on site to camera some vent stacks on the roof, went down about 16 different stacks with the camera to look at their condition and if they convert to cast iron, customer was taking notes of findings and wants us to return tomorrow to continue cameraing the clean outs on the 1st floor to see how the pipes are out of the building, cleaned up work area and left. Returned the next day to camera the same stacks as before but from the 1st floor cleanouts, ran the camera down all the same lines to check their condition, customer made notes of all findings, also ran the camera down the outside courtyard storm drains, cleaned up work areas and left

Haul away all job-related debris. 7. Acquire the plumbing permit and sit for inspection. Removed old 80% carrier furnace. Installed new 80% carrier furnace. Installed new gfi and flip switch. Change new condensate pump. Changed flue to furnace and to the water heater. Changed new thermostat. Tested the heat to make sure it’s operating ok. Cleaned up work area after finishing work. Customer prefers to pay online or contact sales to make a payment
Examined area of concern by customer. Master bedroom shower is clogged. Ran water to determine depth of clog and after awhile drain backed up. Continued running water and ran drain cables down through drainline. At approximately 20ft water is shower went down and cables buckled at same time. Switched gears and went further into drainline. With free movement began pulling cables back to reveal a large mound of trash with hair entangled in it. There is nothing identifiable in bathroom that could contribute to this clog. Examined area of concern by customer. Customer was winterizing hose Bibb lines and is concerned about bleeding caps on valves producing water. Explained to customer that the caps are supposed to produce water while winterizing. I did check caps and both have gaskets and operate perfectly. Formulated some investment options regarding immediate area of concern and presented to customer. Customer would like estimates emailed for her to sit down and decide. While speaking with customer she expressed concern about master bedroom bathroom toilet. With customer consent we proceeded to upstairs. I viewed hallway bathroom toilet and master bedroom bathroom toilet. Formulated option to replace toilet with an up to date Toto model and explained the Drake with Tornado Flush to customer. I returned today to do heat check on clients mini split systems I checked unit amps and found within specs. I checked all wiring and connections and all limits and saftys found functioning properly. I took temperatures inside and got a temp rise of about 45 degrees. I cleaned washable filters and put them back in. I proceeded to check the outdoor unit and found coils are clean. I checked outdoor temp discharge temp liquid line temp and suction line temp and found all within spec. Outdoor unit amps are also within spec. Overall this mini split is running and heating without any issues. However I do recommend adding 1x surge protector to the outdoor disconnect box due to the motor and inverter board being exposed to any high voltage power surges. Surge protector $326.00 The client is also interested in a head master control which is designed to control refrigerant pressures. The price for head master control valve is $2023.00 including labor. Kitchen sink in my Condo blocked. Vito gave cost range of $250 -$350 when scheduled (condo & Bethesda norm).Tech quoted $795 on arrival and then 'discounted' to $525 which I accepted. As longtime customer I expected priority cost treatment - not onsite negotiation. Tech was professional in the easy 1/2 hr job. Too costly.

Scheduling was easy, and the new text based updates on technician arrival status was a great feature. Bertrand was extremely professional and provided an excellent winter tune-up for our home heating system.
