Today, upon arriving at the site, I conducted a series of tasks starting with checking the Delta T, where the return air temperature was noted at 70° and the supply air temperature at 45°. This resulted in a total air temperature split of 25°, which is considered good since anything above 18° falls within the acceptable range. The external static pressure readings showed both supply and return static pressures at .2wc, totaling .4wc, which aligns with manufacturer specifications. The blower wheel was fairly clean, and the condensate safety switch was operational. The compressor run capacitor was within tolerance, and the condenser fan run capacitor was in good condition. Additionally, I replaced a burnt-out air scrubber bulb as requested by the homeowner, ensuring it was now functioning correctly. No other issues were noted.

On May 14, 2024, I arrived at a home in Potomac, Maryland, for a kitchen line repair. The customer reported that they were fixing the fridge line and when reconnecting the line, they heard a hiss and then saw water leaking from the line. They found water shooting out in the crawl space and turned off the main water supply to the house. I assessed the situation and determined that the leak was occurring at a fitting between the floor boards. To access the pipe, I had to work from within the crawl space. I cut the leaking pipe from above and pulled out the old fittings. After some time, I was able to send the top fridge line down through the crawl space. I cut out a section of soft copper and used a new 1/4 coupling to replace the old fitting. I tightened both ends of the new pipe and tested for leaks. After completing the repair, I found no leaks. Thank you for choosing Vito.
