07/25/2024 The furnace that was making noise. I kicked it on and i didn't hear anything until about a few minutes later. the blower motor seems to be going bad. The furnace is older and i recommended a replacement of furnace. The client will think about it and get back to us. We should reach out to client to set up an appointment to have a comfort advisor out here to provide quote on a new system. installed air scrubber parts checked operation and all okay. 07/25/2024 upon arrival of home I noticed that the bathtub on the first floor was clogged. I removed the drain stopper and noticed a lot of debris. with the customers consent I removed the drain and pulled a lot of hair out of the drain. properly reinstalled drain and ran water for testing. there are no more failures in water flow.

07/24/2024 customer informed us that the upstairs bathroom faucet on the cold side wasnt turning on. upon observation I've discovered that during the installation of new material. we didn't connect the cold line back to the faucet. drained the water down to the house and made a connection on the 1/2 inch line using a tee and a coupling. turns water back on and clean work area.

AC MAINTENANCE ON TWO UNITS. #1 BASEMENT I checked the filter and found really clogged. The client did not have a filter for me to replace today, he will need to purchase more and replace it ASAP. I checked the indoor blower wheel motor housing compartment for any obstructions and found none. I checked motor amps and found within specs. I checked the Condensate line that goes down to the floor drain and flushed it with a gallon of water and added Condensate tablets. I checked all limits and saftys and all wiring and connections and found okay. I checked the outdoor unit and I noticed the condenser coil on need of Immediate cleaning. I checked the outdoor temperature and got 80 I checked the discharge temperature and got 98 I checked the capacitor and the Contactor and found working within range. Recommendations for unit #1 Clean the outdoor coil $425.00 #2 ATTIC I checked both filter and replaced with one costumer provided. I checked the indoor blower wheel motor housing compart

Plumbing Parts Install 07/22/2024 Examined area of concern by customer. On prior visit documented Ultraglide cartridges required to rebuild existing faucet in powder room. Customer was adamant she would like faucet to be repaired. Was able to locate new cartridges for existing faucet repair. Shutdown water supply to fixture and removed existing cartridges from faucet. Secured new Ultraglide cartridges in faucet and repressured water supply to fixture. Tested for proper functionality and there are no leaks present on any connection points at this time. New AC Installation 07/19/2024 recovered all old refrigerant and removed all old equipment and set and installed all new equipment and tied everything back in from line set to drains and electrical and ran equipment and checked for proper operation

07/19/2024 Examined area of concern by customer. Customer has 5yr old water heater that he is concerned about. Water Heater appears in good condition. Inquired to service schedule of appliance and customer states there has been none. Water Heater is surrounded by water alarms. Customer would like life expectancy determined today. Made customer aware that average life of a water heater is 9-11yrs. I cannot determine how much life is left in a water heater accurately. Made customer aware that a properly serviced water heater can live as well as it's taken care of. Gave customer investment option to service water heater today. There are currently no leaks or malfunctions from water heater. Customer agreed to service water heater. Began flushing built up sediment and calcification buildup from water heater. Flushed water heater until water came out crystal clear. With buildup removed, water should heat a lot faster and burn less gas to heat water. Today's service is complete. Thank you for

arrived. found indoor coil frozen and outdoor compressor frozen. turned furnace onto heat to defrost evap coil. used water to defrost compressor. pressures was good. but fan speed was to low. coil was freezing. spoke with supervisor about fan not ramping up. changed where the system is wired on the controle board to allow the furnace to know when to kick into second stage AC. system is cooling with a 18 split. replaced filter provided by owner.

Here's what I found and the recommended repairs, replacements, and additional services: Issues Found: Carrier Infinity system trying to run heat and AC simultaneously Water noticed under the blower housing Heat call not functioning when power turned back on Temperature split is 18 Recommended Repairs/Replacements: Replace Carrier Infinity control board (out of warranty) - $1780 Replace Carrier Infinity stat - $1170 Current System Status: System is running normally at the moment Next Steps: Comfort advisor needed to provide a quote for the recommended repairs and replacements Please note that this summary does not include any information about future plans, the condition of the system after work, or parts order procedures unless explicitly mentioned in the notes.

Air Conditioning Not Working on Bottom Floor 07/19/2024 Today, I arrived on site to address the customer's AC issue. Here's what I did: Repairs: Replaced the blown capacitor on one unit, which was causing the AC to not work. Cleaned the dirty coil, which was causing a restriction and cooling issues in the home. System Status: After replacing the capacitor and cleaning the coil, the system is now on and running. The AC is cooling the home properly. Additional Service: Informed the owner about the restriction caused by the dirty coil and its impact on cooling. Recommended cleaning the coil to improve cooling efficiency. Overall, I successfully repaired the AC by replacing the capacitor and cleaning the coil. The system is now functioning properly and cooling the home effectively.

AC Maintenance 07/19/2024 Today, I arrived on site for a 2 zone maintenance job. Here's a summary of what I found: Unit 1 (Attic System): 19 years old Cooling at a 10 split Needs to be replaced due to age, efficiency, and lack of cooling Should be cooling between 18-22 Unit 2 (Basement System): 10 years old, Carrier full system Cooling with a 17 split System is okay, but out of warranty Condensate drain is clear, but the condensate pump is slimy and needs maintenance System is cooling, but not in the optimal range Cleaning coils and changing the filter may help Condenser fan is heavily rusted and showing signs of failure Coils are fairly clean, but the coating is stripped Recommendations: Replace both systems and put them under a maintenance agreement 10-year warranty on both systems Please note that the temperature today is 73, so the units are not under heavy load.

Warranty Wax Ring: 07/18/2024 returned to the job and replaced the tank to bowl gasket and wax ring, took apart the tank and placed a new gasket, put the tank back together, tested for leaks, found leak at the gasket again, tried one more different kind of gasket, tested it and found no leaks at the gasket, toilet was leaking from the wax ring, replaced the wax ring, tested all fixes for leaks, no leaks found, all work was covered under warranty, cleaned up work area and left

07/17/2024 AC check on one unit. I arrived and I checked the filter and replaced with one costumer provided. I checked the indoor blower wheel motor housing and compartment. I checked blower amps and found okay. I checked the Condensate line and flushed it with a gallon of water and found okay. I checked all limits and safety all wirings and connections found okay. I checked the return air temperature of 75 and a supply air temperature of 77. I checked the outdoor unit coil and found okay. I checked outdoor temperature of 94 and a discharge temperature of 106 I checked all components and found okay for now. The unit Is running and cooling. After inspection I did advise cosutumer of the fungle growth detected today inside the air handler. I did recommend an air scrubber to the unit to eliminate and fight against any future fungle spours contaminating the unit and circulating back into the air. Price for air scrubber $1332.00 We will renew client's Vito VIP contract today for $244

07/17/2024 I arrived at my customer home for the guest bedroom not cooling properly I did a full system check and find the system low two pounds of refrigerant I added two pounds of refrigerant to the guest room system I noticed the basketball court system not working I reset all power check all amps and components basketball court systems working at this time I noticed the gym/first floor system icing up I defrost the system added 2 lb of refrigerant all systems are working properly at this time.

Upstairs Air Conditioning Not Working 07/16/2024 I arrived at my customer home for AC not working I did a full system check and found the system low three pounds of 410A attic drain pan filled with water indoor drain clogged I flushed indoor drain clean and vacuum drain pan in the Attic add 3 pounds of refrigerant AC systems working properly at this time

When I scheduled service this month for our old AC unit that the company had refilled with R22 just three years ago in 2021, I was told that refilling again with R22 was still possible and that service techs still had it in supply. So I proceeded to schedule the service appointment to try to fix our system that I believed was in need of a recharge. When the technician arrived one week later, I was informed that the company does not have R22 and hasn't had it for a couple years. I was charged $120 for a visit where the technician could do nothing but inform me that we need to upgrade to a new AC system. The misinformation from scheduling wasted time and money. I would have approached our AC problem differently if I had known that recharging wasn't an option. This was the fault of dispatch/scheduling, not the Technician.
Hi Glen - We are sorry to see your review but wanted to point out a few things, including the fact the you were never charged (and did not pay) the $120 Diagnosis fee. But most importantly, we do believe the technician's recommendation was correct based on several factors including that the system was built in 1986 and is currently 38 years old. A standard system’s life expectancy is 15 – 20 years. Also, even though code prohibits any company from charging a system with more than 2 lbs. of R22 ... even if we could have charged system, it would not be financially wise for the consumer as it would most likely leak out of system (again) due to age. Thank you for your understanding.
