2014 GAS FURNACE MODEL # PG8MAA042090 SERIAL# 4714A19155 Furnace was not responding to thermostat call for heat. • Verified thermostat operation and jumped R to W at the control board — unit did not start. • System displayed Code 31 – Pressure Switch Did Not Close or Reopened, indicating an airflow or safety fault during the start-up sequence. • Inspected all safety switches; all were functioning properly except for the pressure switch, which failed to close when the inducer was commanded to start. • Found no voltage output to the inducer motor from the control board, confirming the control board is also faulty. • Noted inducer motor appears to be in poor condition, showing visible wear and likely contributing to the pressure switch failure. Diagnosis: • Failed pressure switch preventing the furnace from completing the ignition cycle. • Defective control board not sending voltage to the inducer motor. • Worn inducer motor may cause intermittent or complete system f

HEAT AND AC CHECK UP. Upon arrival the client advised me that he wanted me to perform the ac and heat maintenance. I started by checking the ac. Found a clogged and dirty filter with need of replacement. The client will be responsible of purchasing and replacing the filter. I checked the indoor blower wheel motor and found some oil on the shaft of the blower motor which is a sign of a leaking blower motor which happens with time. The furnace is from 04. I checked blower motor amps me found within specs. I checked evaporator coil and found okay. I checked the condensate line trap going into floor drain and flushed it with approximately 2 gallons of water and added condensate tablets to ensure proper drainage. I checked all wiring and connections and all limits and safety’s found okay. Return air temperature 65 degrees supply air temperature 47 degrees. I proceeded to check the outdoor condenser coil and found the coil dirty. I checked the 70/5mfd capacitor and found low on tolerance.

System Type: 2011 Lennox Split System (AC/Furnace) System Age: Approx. 14 years Service Performed: 1. Initial Inspection: Conducted a full diagnostic inspection of the Lennox split system (AC and furnace). System was operational upon arrival, but not performing optimally. 2. Capacitor Replacement: Identified a failed dual run capacitor during diagnostic testing. The capacitor was out of tolerance and not providing the proper voltage to the compressor and fan motor. Replaced the faulty capacitor with a new, manufacturer-compatible unit. System restarted and confirmed both compressor and fan motor are now running properly. 3. Delta T Measurement: Measured a Delta T (temperature differential) of 14°F across the evaporator coil. This is slightly below the optimal range (typically 18–22°F), which may indicate early efficiency loss or minor airflow issues. 4. Contactor Condition: Visual inspection showed the contactor is beginning to rust. Electrical contacts are still functi

During routine maintenance of the two air conditioning systems, the attic unit—installed in 2019—was found to be in good condition. Water was present in the drain pan but is not causing any issues at this time. The drain line was flushed, and the air filter was found to be dirty and needs replacement. The condenser coils are also dirty and should be cleaned. Electrical connections were secure, and no signs of debris or damage were found. The main unit, installed in 2011, is operating properly, though the condenser fan motor is drawing higher than normal amperage, which could indicate future failure. The condenser coils are dirty and need cleaning. The drain line was flushed, and all wiring was checked and found to be secure. No significant debris was found inside the unit. Cleaning both condensers and monitoring the older unit’s fan motor are recommended. At this time system is operational. View visual findings from this job here - https://vitoservices.com
