Install New Dual A/C Furnace: pumped down and removed all old equipment and set and installed all new equipment with new thermostat and tied back in all duct work drains and electrical and lineset and evacuated system and fired up equipment and checked for proper operation
NO HEAT checked furnace found stuck inducer draft motor, and very bad water leak somewhere, freed up stuck inducer motor, search for water leak found coming from secondary heat exchanger, will need a comfort advisor out to price out full system has R22 AC unit GOODMAN MODEL NUMBER GMS90904CXA SERIAL NUMBER 040750345 COMFORT MAKER MODEL NUMBER JS3BC-030KA SERIAL NUMBER JSD050700444
07/06/2024 NO AC CALL I checked the thermostat and the indoor air temperature was 88. I turned the thermostat down to 65 to call for AC. The indoor blower motor came on and just blowing air. I went to the outdoor unit and neither the fan or compressor came on. I checked the 40/5mfd capacitor and found bad. I replaced the capacitor and the outdoor unit came on. I checked the return air temperature of 86 and I got a supply air temperature of 75 which is not the best. I let it run for a little to make sure it stayed on. The AC is running off of R-22 refrigerant and past its life expectancy. The unit is running and providing some air conditioning for now. I will recommend replacing the AC and getting annual maintenance agreement. I also added r-22 leak seal and dye to see if my temperature split dropped and it did but only 2 more. leak seal and dye r-22 $861
