Proposal for sewer line replacement inside home
Examined area of concern by customer. Leak from above coming through ceiling. Went upstairs to inspect both bathrooms. In kids bathroom, toilet tank is leaking profusely through bolts. Made customer aware of leak and gave investment option to remove tank and replace gasket and bolts. Customer states he’ll buy new toilet. Gave customer investment option to install customer supplied toilet. Customer states he’ll call us back if he can’t get it in himself. Thank you for choosing Vito!
Arrived on site , the customer informed me that their toilet is back is backing up and also it’s coming up in the tub. I advised the customer that I would use a 1500 snack machine to dry any debris or foreign object obstructing the pipe. Turned water off to the toilet, inbolted the toielt from the flange and Set up 1500. Went approximately 60ft down into the drain line. Observed the water start draining down. As I using the last 15ft cable I ran water down the drain as I was snaking the line. The customer advised me that that it frequently backs up so he would like for us to camera the line also. Pulled all 4 cables back and began to camera the line. Approximately around 29-30 a belly starts to form in the line and it last up to 60ft in the pipe. I advised the customer what a belly is and what could be the potential next steps. Packed up equipment, advised Jason about the possibility of a dig. Cleaned up work area and left job site. Thanks for choosing vito 😉

Made customer aware I must execute more intrusive measures and run drain cables through drainline. Customer authorized. Set dropcloth to protect property. Set machine and ran total of 32.5ft of drain cables through drainline to restore flow in area. Customer believes her home is a Levin home, so I ran more cables than may have been necessary due to no one knows how these homes are piped in. Pulled back cables and all cables came back black but not wet. Removed lint from cables. Laundry area next to kitchen. Ran water for extensive time and flow is fully restored in area at this time. Thank you for choosing Vito! Return visit to address leak undersink. Viewed small puddle in cabinet. Ran water to see and tightened trap. Arrived onsite, customer had very little water flow coming from existing kitchen faucet. First, checked for any galvanized steel piping in utility room - found all copper supply lines. Next, disconnected hot and cold flexible braided steel water supply lines from angle stop valves under kitchen sink. Flow was normal after turning valves on and putting lines into bucket. Advised customer that it was likely a clog in the faucet itself. Customer also had a new kitchen faucet needing to be installed. Removed existing faucet and placed new faucet through hole. Tightened basin nut and placed weight on spray head line. Connected supply lines to hot & cold angle valves. Arrived on-site for a customer who had a few issues she wanted us to look at. First concern was her refrigerator. She is getting a new fridge installed, but the appliance installers couldn’t locate a shut-off valve and recommended the customer have one installed. I inspected the basement and found the ice maker line connected to the cold side of the water heater, but it was using an old-style saddle valve. I informed the customer that we typically avoid working with saddle valves due to their unreliability. Next, the customer pointed out a wet spot on her ceiling. She explained that years ago there had been a leak, so they cut the drywall open. After three years without any further leaking, they patched it up. Recently, her son moved back in and started using the shower again, and they noticed the wet spot had returned.
