New Dual AC / Furnace HVAC System Installation: recovered old refrigerant and removed all the old equipment. set and installed all new equipment and hung new thermostat and disconnect box and tied all gas lines, electrical, drains, and flu pipe back in. evacuated system and checked for leaks. fired up equipment and checked for proper operation.
NO HEAT SERVICE CALL 2010 Lennox 90% high efficiency gas furnace Upon Arrival I turned the fan on position and it ran. Then I called for heat the inducer came on the flame sensor came on the gas valve opened and the flames came on but they were rolling out badly. The burner cover has burnt marks on it. The plastic window on the burner cover is burnt due to the flames rolling out also. This is an indication that the heat exchanger is cracked and it's a concern. This system has a safety called a roll out switch that in a case such as this one it's designed to shut off the unit to prevent any harm. While inspecting the unit I also observed several leaks within the furnace. Main parts and components are no longer reliable as they used to. At this time the client is aware of the situation and we will have to take further actions. OPTION 1: Replace heat exchanger and replace the flame sensor and ignitor due to water and tare with the possibility of other things failing. heat exchanger
replaced gas control valve and restored water. unit is functioning properly. office will need to call and collect payment there is no service on site.
custoemr has 50 gallon gas heater that will stay lit but will not ignite full pilot. I am recommending that customer has gas control valve. I have located gas control at Ferguson's in Beltsville . part no s100262939. customer will need to have valve put in tomorrow . will contact parts about part.

Drain In Powder Room Jammed: arrived at the job site the home owner told me what was the issue. once I saw what it was .the pop up was stuck and I had to take it apart and put it again together. once I was done collected my tools and clean up my work area
Local Plumber Call, Dishwasher Line Backed Up, Bathroom Sink Has Slow Drain, Toilet Is Running: upon arrival of home I rebuilt the upstairs hall bath toilet. snaked the sink in the same bathroom. snaked the powder room drain. adjusted 3 pop up assemblys as a courtesy to the customer. cleaned work area thoroughly. there are no further failures.
