Job Locations and Reviews
Today, I arrived on site for the scheduled maintenance of a two-zone heating system. Zone 1: Attic Heat Pump Noticed excessive ductwork upon entering the attic; some ducts require cutting to length to reduce air loss. UV light inside the air handler is functioning well; no burn marks and glowing bright. Absence of sight glass on the air handler door limits UV light visibility. Blower wheel and housing are clean and free of debris. Coil is clear of debris. Electric heat amps are within specifications. Temperature rise measured at 70F with electric heat. Air handler is operating properly. Zone 2: Basement Main Level Furnace Checked furnace capacitor; readings at 4/4 mfd. Notable rust observed, likely originating from the AC unit. Cleaned the EZ trap for optimal performance. Flame sensor cleaned for efficiency. Ignitor measured at 50 ohms. Blower wheel and housing are clean and free of debris. System is heating properly.
