Backflow Prevention Testing: Lowered the backflow assembly after turning the water off. Everything went well. Tested the assembly and it passed.
I arrived at my customer home to provide pricing for replacement for the gas furnace downstairs I provide price and proposal customer will review proposal system turned off at this time
No Heat Call: heat exchanger is clogged reading 4600 ppm. will have Andrew reach out to give pricing
Call to do maintenance on 2023 heat pump system. Checked all components for proper operation found no issues with components. Secured any loose wires and checked for dirt and debris. System is clean at this time. Recommended changing filter for air handler because current filter is letting dirt thru witch will cause problems for the system. Outside unit is also in good standing. final cycled system at this time system is fully operational. Recommended adding Air Scrubber ($1100) to system
HVAC call to maintenance on 2012 heat pump. During maintenance found system is clean. checked all components on system and found 1/3 elements are not working. Meaning the emergency heat is only working at 66%. Informed customer of findings and customer decided to wait to replace system instead of replacing part. Changed water panel and air filter. All other parts on air handler are in good standing. Checked condenser unit and found capacitor is also starting to go weak and should be replaced before it fails. Also found condenser fan motor amping close to max indicating motor will fail. Customer will wait at this time. All other components are working properly. Final cycled system at this time system is operational. Heater Kit 15kw $625.90 40/5 capacitor $320 10/29/2024 Customer still needs C02 detector
I completed inspection on gas furnace. I cleaned flame sensor. ignitor ohms is ok 52. I took Amps on all motors and components. return 72 supply 129. filter is clean and I also tested humidifier. I checked all safeties and gas valve. I completed combustion analysis. I spoke to homeowner of the importance of surge protector on furnace.
Commercial Property Back Flow Prevention Testing: Tested 4 backflow preventers with three passing and one failing. The one that failed is the detector for the assembly for the fire system that is in a hot box on the outside of the building. I will need to make a quote for it to hopefully be rebuilt and pass. If there is more damage than I can see the assembly may have to be replaced. It may be ok with just the rebuild. There have been backflows discovered out here and some of the serial numbers don't match. I spoke with Shawn M. from Fairfax and he said to wait until at least Wednesday to submitt the ones that have passed as he has some alterations to make in the system. Bill would also like a quote for lowering the backflow in Jersey Mike's that cannot be tested.
Local Backflow Preventer Testing: Went to job looking for backflows in Five Guys and Jersey Mikes. I started in Jersey Mikes where the backflow is untestable do to access. I tried a few different way to get to it but it's proximity to the faucet for the mop sink makes testing impossible without some changes more than what I can do here right now. The serial number Fairfax has is correct. dordonez@jerseymikes.com would like to be kept in the loop of the next steps. I went to Five Guys where I could not find the backflow mentioned by Fairfax. I did however find serial number 219668 which is a 2" 009m2q by watts. I did not test this assembly as the people of Jersey Mikes said the had an inspection going on and did not want any interruption in water service. I informed Chelsea of all of this and told her that Vito would have to charge for all of this investigation and she said that would be fine.
The technician flushed the hot water tank efficiently and cleanly. He explained how the process works. I used a discount coupon Vito had emailed to me so the price was very good.

arrived on site forna customer who wants there hot water heater flush customer showed me the heater heater is from 2018 when looking at heater tested expansion tank and notice it was filled brought to customer attention and gave investment options but today customer just wanted to get there heater flush. started by connecting hose and key heater flush for 20mins after 20 mins wrapped hose up thank you for choosing Vito.
