Return Call WIth WIFI Thermostat: arrived. cut and made repairs to flue. installed UV light. stat is on 68. stat temp 70. iam going to check fan off delay time in furnace because temp is going above. changed blower delay to 90 seconds. will order stat just in case. she will like a wifi stat. all condition normall. check is blower delay works.
Today, I arrived on site for heating maintenance. Furnace Maintenance: Informed that the furnace in the basement was providing too much heat. Noticed the furnace fan was running after a call. System was operating with the heat pump; the evaporator coil was hot. Checked furnace combustion with an analyzer; combustion readings were good. Found standing water under the inducer trap; removed and cleaned the condensate trap. Discovered bees in the trap, which could have caused an obstruction. After cleaning, tested the system; everything seems in order. Noted a leaking fitting on the furnace flue; will need to cut out and refit with 3-inch PVC and coupling. Recommended surge protectors for all units to safeguard against power surges. Heat Pump in Attic: Found the UV light was no longer functioning; recommended replacement. Suggested switching to an air scrubber for improved indoor air quality. Replaced the filter in the attic unit; system is heating properly. Mini Split Garag
Arrived for 2 zone heating maintenance heat pumps on furnace. Zone 1 Main house. Filter need to be replaced for often. I replaced filter 3 months ago and filter already need to be replaced. Check condensate drain line to be free and clear. Inducer amps to be within range Heat pump voltage and amps within range. System is operating normally at this time Main heat heat pump. Furnace is emergency heat. Zone 2 basement furnace. Voltage and amps within range. Filter did not need to be replaced at this time. Inducer amps are within range. Inducer capacitor is within range Blower wheel and housing are clean. Heat pump operation are good at this time. System is heating properly at this time.
09/09/2024 arrived. found indoor temp to be 66/66. system is cooling. did 2 x system maintenance. replaced filter for both system 16*25*4 filters was on site. went and bought 16*25*4 filters for downstairs system. inspected both drain lines to be free and clear and checked both condensate pumps. both system are cooling with 20 splits. thermostat have low temp lock outs. thermostat will stop operating AC on colder days. this setting can be removed but could cause unneeded stress on system to be trying to cool on cooler evenings. check with comphort advisor about upgrading to fresh air intake on the system to bring in outside air filtered into the home. this help with humidity controle and indoor air quality.
