Commercial Plumbing Call Install Pumps: customer notified us that they had two submersible pumps that needed to be replaced. pumps have arrived and ready to be installed. once on site set up equipment and began disassembling the old existing pumps. first we made sure that all power was off to the pumps before touching any wiring all power to the pumps is now off. the pumps where piped in 2inch schedule 40 piping. unwired both pumps from the control panel and used sawzall to cut out old sections of the existing line. used a strap with a hook at the end to attach to the pump from the handle in order to pull and sat the pump with out out using the chain fall. once both pumps where out of the pit. we then started to assemble to the new pump. once new pumps where ready to be dropped back down we then ran the lead wires to the control box to check for rotation on the pumps before placing them inside of the pit. both pumps rotation was correct. sat new pumps in place and test for leaks o
Local Commercial Plumber, Cracked Sewer Line: arrived onsite, 4" horizontal cast iron main drain line cracked. dug out pipe and undermined. cut pipe after cinder block wall where crack was located and cut on other side of wall to leave enough room for combo fitting. felt underneath pipe and looked inside to make sure we cut after the crack. used grit cloth and wire brush to clean off all scale and dirt on outside of pipe. also used hammer and chisel to break off scale that we couldn't get with grit cloth and scotch Brite. slipped ferncos on both ends of CI pipe and took measurements. pre fabricated new PVC pipe with combo wye cleanout and then put in place in ditch. asked Donnie how he wanted cleanout and then placed combo wye at 45 degree angle. tightened up both ferncos. noticed leak at farther end so needed to remove sheer band because it was compressing pipe too much. tightened up fernco and made sure there was no leak. installed 12" piece of pipe in center outlet of combo then cem

Clogged Sink That Drains Into Basement: Examined area of concern by customer. Laundry sink is backed up in basement from kitchen sink above. Gave customer investment option to restore flow in area. Customer told me what prior plumbers have said regarding line. Reiterated investment option today. Customer agreed. Ran approximately 25ft of drain cables through trap to restore flow in area. Smell strong odor of grease. Ran water full pressure through sink while pulling cables back with no backups. Viewed lint in cables and spoke to customer regarding situation. Continued running water with no backups. Flow is fully restored in area. Thank you for choosing Vito!
09/16/2024 customer advised that they have a sump pump that is tripping the breaker. once on site the customer advised me the pumps where installed about 7 -8 years ago and recently just had re piping done. there were 2 pumps present and pump number one was the pump that was tripping the breaker. went to put the pump in hand and it's instantly kicking the break off. pump number 1 was running about 14-15 amps and while pump 2 was running 4-5 amps. I then put pump 1 in auto and it stills kicks the breaker. no vibration, no sign of propellers spinning ,no water movement. on pump number 2 it's doesn't kicks the breaker off and also I can feel and hearing water being suctioned up through the pipes. also the engineer advised me that this pump cycles very very slow barely pulling water. upon further observation I observed that while pump number 2 was on its slowly pumping the water of the pit.xheck valves seems to be in good condition and I hear it open and closing when the pump it turned
Hydro-Jetting Commercial Plumbing Call: 09/13/2024 Got jet and went to the job. We made a few runs with the jet going 10 feet further each time and pulling back under pressure as well. the pit became too difficult to empty so we could jet properly. One of the pumps is burned up and tripping the breaker. It the one closest to the panel, it is pulling 14 to 15 amps for a minute and then it pops the breaker while not moving any water. The other pump is running at 4 to 5 amps continually under a load and moving the water. Lorenzo would like this looked at as soon as possible.
08/12/2024 Worked with Mizzel and the camera checking on the drainage line to the "sump pit" down in the boiler room. We did some testing with water and finally decided that this line may benefit from a jetting. Lorenzo liked the idea, I told him we would get it scheduled.
