arrived. replaced power board. after replacing power board I preformed a start up. no more lost of communication error. new error 1_1. inverter error. I spoke with manager. there will be a tech support tech coming to building with Tom and we will have him take a look at this unit as well to finilize repairs. I waited 1h30 mins for tech support with no response or call back for assistance for unit. I spoke to manager about other system. was informed to wait for tech support for that system. I was informed about 1 unit not heating the 3rd floor. but I found stats at 65 and 66. I raised stats to 71. heat started to rise. system is heating.
Commercial Back Flow Prevention Testing: Tested four backflow preventers and three passed. The 3/4" backflow sn 392731 failed. I will get a quote together and send it to Dooie. Dooie is at the doctor's to day and I was not able to collect for the tests.
arrived on site for a mainline stoppage customer has been dealing with this issue for a week though it was just a shower clogged and snaked it thru the basement shower and was fine till yesterday it backed up again and had water coming out from outside floor drain and ane sewage coming from the shower. tested by flushing toilet and water starting backing up outside floor drain and confirmed mainline stoppage qouted customer to snake main me customer agreed and joined our monthly vip plan started by sucking water out from toilet and tank before pulling toilet placed a 2"wing plug in shower to prevent water from shower to flow into the pipe then pulled toilet and pipe was filled with water set up drop cloth and set snaking machine up. once set up started snaking went 1 cable( 15 ft) and water in piped drained then removed Wing nut plug in shower and water drained went a extra cable so went 2 cables ( 30 ft) ran water in shower and from angle for stop for 20mins and no back ups occurred r
arrived at location to repipe steel pipe feeding the recruiting pump that is on a cooler tower system. old pipe was broken and corroded. we replaced with steel, this occured in the mechanical room. installed flange proved by customer and pipe the rest out to a section fo no corridored steel pipe. mega pressed and pipe the rest into copper, systems.is back on working at 60-80 psi no leaks occured, installed customer provided gauge as well.
Water Fountain Is Leaking: arrived at location, to cap off water feeding water fountain and also plug up drain. pulled out the water fountain, customer said water fountain was not working and wanted to get rid of it.
NO HEAT POSSIBLE BAD THERMOSTAT checked thermostat found not working can't ser a desire temperature, replaced thermostat with Honeywell T4 PRO , programmed thermostat for 1 cool 1 heat operation, checked system working heating fine ADD DISCOUNT PER NOLAN -320.00 replaced T 4 thermostat
Error Code on mini split system: Low On Freon: I advised the client that she needed 3lbs of refrigerant..I also advised her the the coils will need to be cleaned as well. Once the coils are cleaned we can properly add the refrigerant and get proper pressure readings. Also I did let her know that it is cold outside today and there's a possibility that my pressures won't balance out due to the weather. The client wants to wait till it gets a little warmer to get the job done. For now she has space heaters. RECOMMENDATIONS: 3lbs of Refrigerant $843.00 Clean outdoor coil $337.00 Note: All mini split must have a surge protector at the outdoor unit due to it being exposed to any high voltage power surges. The outdoor unit hold a lot of very important and expensive components. If there's any high voltage power surges those components are liable to get harmed. Adding a surge protector will prevent those components from getting harmed, saving you some money in the long run. Surge p
Diagnosing and solving of the issue was managed in one visit.
Powder room toilet is clogged. Foundation work being performed in basement currently. Gave customer investment option to restore flow in area. Ran closet auger through toilet and extended into closet bend. Pulled back clean. Forced air through toilet and saw waste jump out of lavy sink drain. Went to basement to view piping configuration and sink taps into stack separately. Customer states nothing else in home is backing up. Gave customer updated investment option for me to utilize cleanout access and clear stack. Much difficulty getting access. Once accessible, ran total of 45ft of cables through cleanout to ensure line was cleared. Customer made me aware there is a Backflow valve on sewer line in basement, but this newly built line taps into main after backflow device and she believes street is backing up into her home. Pulled cables back and they appear clean. Gritty dirt is felt on gloves, indicating line may be penetrated underground. Customer is currently in belief that the stree
FALL MAINTENANCE ON ONE UNIT. THE OWNER IS SELLING UNIT. CARRIER HEAT PUMP FROM 2009 Upon arrival she advised me that the inspector had told her that the fungus inside the unit needs to be addressed and attacked and also that the refrigerant line insulation need to be replaced upstairs in the roof due to it getting brittle with time. I called for heat at the thermostat. I checked the Indoor blower wheel motor housing compartment for any obstructions and noticed a HUGE funlge outbreak cultivating within the system, on all the wiring, the blower housing and motor , and even on the EVAP coil. I checked the electrical heater element and found okay. I checked all limits and safetys found okay. I got a return air temp of 68 and a supply air temperature of 86. I checked the filter and replaced with one costumer provided. I proceeded to the roof top where the outdoor unit is at. I checked the 1/2 line set insulation and found it deteriated. I arrived at my customer home for a two zone boiler system heat maintenances outdoor temperature is 30 degrees at this time customer let me in the garage into the basement customer adjusted both thermostat five degrees above the room temperature in heat mode for me I check all amps and components indoor zone valve, zone control board, clean burners, pipes, damper, gauge, expansion tank,fill valve, back Flow preventer, relief valve, water temperature, water pressure, power switch, gas valve, zone pump, air scope, vent pipe, flames, main board, radiator, sensors boiler system working properly at this time.

Basement Toilet Needs Repairs: Upstairs bedroom bathroom toilet is running periodically. Inspected toilet and all is quiet now. Felt around AMS Champion gasket and gasket is inflated with bubbles and requires replacement. Proceeded to basement and inspected bathroom toilet. Customer states contractors may have used and clogged. Engaged water to bowl and level rised. Gave customer investment options for required process of repairs today. Customer agreed. Went to truck to acquire materials required. Returned inside and removed existing Champion gasket from upstairs bedroom bathroom. Gasket is blown up tremendously. Documented. Installed new Champion gasket with no malfunctions. Set water level in tank and tested for proper functionality. Toilet operates at full capacity with no further malfunctions. Proceeded to basement and ran closet auger through toilet and extended into closet bend to ensure toilet is clear and immediate drainage underneath. Flushed toilet numerous times to ensure fl
arrived on site to flush water filter started by shutting water off to house and connected hose to drain port and opened up filter and started flushing all carbon from filter flushed out for 20 mins then stopped and let water fill up again for 5 mins and started flushing again for 20 mins till no more carbon came out then turned off boiler drain and disconnected hose and turned water back on and tested water quality and water quality is now perfect thank you for choosing Vito.
arrived at location for snaking multiple kitchen floor drains, ran about 150ft to the main cleaning the line which was full of grease,.noticed that the dishwasher drain was still backing up, threw a cable down there running 40ft of cable then the line was clear. no issues occured after that The customer informed us that their main line was backing up. Upon arrival, the customer informed us that multiple drains were backing up in different places in the kitchen. Went back out to the truck to get the k-50 and the k-1500. setup equipment , once the equipment was set up, we then walked around to find the nearest clean out to the floor drain so that we could clear the blockage. once the clean out was open, I can observe high-level water in the pipe, indicating that theirs a blockage somewhere along the line. using the k-1500, I went approximately 180 ft inside of the drain. ran hot water while snaking the line to break up any grease or particles blocking the flow of water for proper drain
Humidifier not working. I arrived on site the Lennox thermostat was on Auto setting. Humidifier was set to 45% but humidity was 18%. The client advised me that for the past month she hasn't heard the water drainage from the humidifier. I kicked on the furnace and a soon as the indoor blower motor came on the humidifier came on. After 2 minutes of the humidifier running it cut off. I noticed the humidifier head was loose and not attached properly due to some worn parts. I tapped the whole humidifier together and made it stable so the head of the humidifier won't come off and debris energize the solenoid valve causing no humidity in the house. I return to my customer home for parts replacement I removed and replaced one inducer fan motor and ignition flush out vent pipes check all amps and components and find gas furnace overheating I recommend a replacement of the full system due to age
HVAC Parts Installation: checked rooftop package unit found inducer draft motor not turning just humming, removed bad motor found new motor is missing a part, the inducer wheel, will have to contact manufacturer about getting part to come back and to install. home has two heating system top floor heat not working at this time

Arrived at location Replace the faucet and to replace the ventilation. We were able to turn off the water and replace the old Faucet and replace it with the new one, turned the water on and test for leaks, no leaks at this moment. We then proceed to cut the old ventilation out. The smell of grease was coming back to due to how the old ventilation wasn't properly built. We built the new ventilation and secured it on the wall. We also pour ZEP into the drains to help clean out any grease left over. We also put ZEP into the Grease Trap and Cleaned it. We let the Water run for about 30-45 mins and waited to see if we smelt any Grease. We were able to Clear the smell and The smell of grease was no longer present. Looks like the Drainage system isn't level to the Grease Trap which is causing the issue. We tested and the smell came back, We need to change out that whole drainage system and make it leveled with the grease trap. The grease trap inlet is too low for the drainage system.
New Hot Water Heater Installation: arrived on site to install new 50 gallon electric heater started by shutting water off to house and started draining house while drained started to drain heater notice heater wasn't drained from drain port since it was full of sediment so cut heater out and removed tmp and and drained down below tmp then removed tmp and inserted pump started draining heater. while draining started prepping carpet shield for carpet notice carpet shield is not for hard wood floors so called office and had plastic sheeting brought out to me placed carpet shield on carpet and stairs that we will be taking heater out once runner came with plastic sheeting placed on hard wood floor and notice it wasn't enough called again and had runner drop cloth brought out to me. heater drained halfway and heater was still heavy when testing to see if we can lift it over and tank out floor board if the closet started cracking when taking a look notice there's no support under there let c
Water Going From Hot to Cold Frequently: arrived onsite, found inconsistent hot water at all home fixtures. checked power going to water heater as well as upper/lower thermostats and elements. water heater only 1 year old. believe 38 gallon unit is undersized for home - could try installing mixing valve on top of water heater to fix issue. tenant/owner situation and owner not onsite
Commercial Back Flow Preventer Testing: Looked at a freeze damaged backflow preventer. Backflow can not be salvaged and must be replaced. I told Nick I would get him a quote on replacing the backflow.
Upon arrival customer concerns heat is pump is not heating properly. Checked system and found braker has flipped again. Checked condenser unit and found capacitor has failed. Replaced capacitor and cycled system. Found refrigerant level are in good standing. Final cycled system at this time system is operational. Collected $330 by check.
arrived on site to look at 2 toilets that were having issues, one was believed to have some sort of partial blockage in it and the other was leaking from the spud, replaced the spud and diaphragm at the request and supply of the customer, the other toilet that was partially blocked up was augered a few times to no avail, took off the toilet from the wall and tried to see if there was anything in the toilet, nothing was found or pushed out, hung the toilet back on the wall and replaced the diaphragm spud as customer requested, tested both toilets, both toilets were running fine, cleaned up work area and left
Customer hot water pressure in kitchen faucet is minimal. Customer states it has never been good, but pressure has been better than it is now. This kitchen is an addition to home. In 2018, there was a cancelled visit to this site to replace basement piping. Went to basement and only viewed copper piping, however customer made me aware they were working through floor upstairs. Made customer aware there has to be some galvanized piping left on hot supply piping coming to area. Removed loose slat of wood in dining room floor and viewed hot piping coming from galvanized and running towards kitchen. Piping may be going to new baseboard heater in kitchen. Recommend customer have any galvanized piping removed and replaced in home, under flooring. Flooring in dining could use replenishing to fill in gaps where rodent's can freely enter home through. Have to assume there is more galvanized piping hidden in walls. At this time cannot determine where exactly hot supply piping is clogged. Dismantl

Mr. Wade was very professional. He detected the smell of natural gas as he went down my stairs where he was to do an annual 1st year furnace maintenance installation check. I have no sense of smell and I have been that way for years. I appreciate that he was able to detect and recognize that my home had a gas leak. He was about his business. However, I never found out if my furnace was operating properly or not. My gas bill is extremely high every month so evidently Vito did not give me an energy efficient furnace. I am very unhappy about my billing.
I was heading out of town so needed immediate service. They came next day and fixed my problem. Danny, the technician was friendly and very capable and did a good job of fixing the problem for us. We are very pleased with Vito Services and recommend them for HVAC regular maintenance and problem shooting and remediation.
