Job Description: water coming in from unit above - Multi-Family Housing Customer canceled en route to job site
Provided proposal for sewer dig up and sewer line repair
I had a seriously stopped up kitchen sink that I had tried to clear with home remedies - boiling water and the vinegar/baking soda but to no avail. I called Vito in the morning and they were there that afternoon and with a snake, unclogged it. Great job, technician was professional, respectful and knew what he was doing. Highly recommend although I am not sure that the cost should have been that much. But I am happy to get my sink and kitchen back!!
Arrived on site for a customer whose basement shower had backed up again. I was out on the 18th for the same issue along with other concerns. The customer mentioned he had tried using a hand snake, which helped a bit. I first ran water in the kitchen sink to check whether it was causing the basement shower to back up. After running for a while, the kitchen sink had no effect on the shower. I then tested the lavatory sink and shower simultaneously. After a short time, the shower began to back up. I checked the toilet to see if any water rose or bubbled, which would indicate a mainline issue, but the toilet was unaffected. I informed the customer that I would attempt snaking the line through the shower this time. I also explained that drain cleaning is typically not covered under warranty, but in this case, I would only charge for my time. I set up the machine and, with both the lavatory and shower running, snaked the line using six cables (45 ft). The water drained properly. I worked
Arrived onsite, performed plumbing maintenance check. Found one failure. Garbage disposal under kitchen sink showing signs of wear. Customer also explained there is an intermittent leak coming from the disposal arm area causing damage to bottom of cabinet. Quoted price for disposal replacement and offered to replace 3rd floor hallway bathroom toilet flapper free of charge. Customer declined estimate for now.
Arrived on site and let myself using the code provided. Turned off the water inside first and drained the house down and then I turned the water off at the meter outside the house. Drained the system down the rest of the way from the bleeder port on the old valve. After the water was fully stopped I cut into the old water main and unsoldered the ball valve that was attached to it. Cut the old 3/4"" And 1/2"" line out and sanded all the ends. After that I started piping in the electronic water meter by using a PRO PRESS 90 and going over making sure it was low enough to connect to the left over pipe above. After the bottom of the valve was piped in I pressed it in place to support it while I worked on the top. After the top was piped in I reconnected the 1/2"" line into the main with a ball valve. Pressed everything in and turned off all faucets I had turned on to re pressurize the house. After the house was re pressurized I bleed the system out and connected the electronics for the Who
Service Report: Call-Back on Install Team Arrived on site to investigate a reported ceiling leak. The customer stated that our commercial team had previously come out to replace some drain work and a water line. However, the customer called back, reporting a leak in the same location. Upon inspection, I opened the ceiling and confirmed that the source of the leak was the new pipe work installed for the shower. I was able to pull the pipe completely out of the shower drain, indicating that it had not been properly tightened during the initial installation. Originally, I intended to have the install team return to fix the issue, but I received approval from management to proceed with the repair myself. I gathered the necessary tools and materials, but while attempting the repair alone, the pipe continued to slip out of place. After multiple attempts, I called for assistance. Once the helper arrived, they held the pipe up while I properly positioned the gasket and tightened the connec

I arrived today to do a ac maintenance on Lennox heat pump. I noticed thermostat room temperature didn't match desired temp setting , I checked the air filter and it seems that it hasn't been replaced for some time casual a restriction of air flow. Since the air filters hasn't been replaced leading an accumulation of dust and let dander flowing inside units electrical and blower motor compartment. Client will need to replace air filters when they get new filters. I checked blower wheel and it has dirt and dust stuck to it's blade cutting it's efficiency by 30%, I took pictures and made sure to get it documented for the client to see. I also cleared the condensate drain line and added condensate tabs. Blower wheel amps had a reading of 1.3. I got a temp split of 19. Outdoor unit Lennox heat pump Capacitor mfs reading 35. Excellent and Quick Service
Jason did a very complete and competent job. In addition he was polite and pleasant to deal with.
Removed the Studor vent and ran water in the sink to allow the drain pipe to fill. Inserted the drain snake until water in the pipe began to drain. Once the blockage cleared, ran water through the drain to test for any backups. Initially attempted to clear the line through the vent but was unsuccessful. Used a small bucket to remove water, then disassembled the P-trap to allow the remaining water to drain. After draining, ran the drain machine approximately 30 feet. No water came back during the process, indicating the blockage was cleared. Removed the cable, reassembled the drain, and tested thoroughly for leaks and backups. As of ticket completion, no leaks or backups were observed. Cleaned up the work area and removed all work-related materials. Note: No warranty on drain cleaning. Thank you for choosing Vito.
