Danny White from Vito checked out my heating system at the start of the heating season. Everything checked out in good working order. He tested out temps and air flow and answered my questions.
One of the best "experiences" I've ever had with customer service and home service. Almost wish I had another water heater breakdown - it was so nice. Edwin was simply amazing - customer service was genuine, empathetic and very professional. I enjoyed talking to him as he walked me through the process. He was efficient and effective and has won us over to Vito as customers for life.
Examined area of concern by customer. Basement bathroom toilet is running. Tank has a lot of components. Trip lever is getting hung up on tank inside tank and fill valve and flush valve gasket requires replacement. There is water producing from age of toilet, indicating that toilet requires being pulled and reset with new wax seal. Spoke with customer regarding toilet and the many options to move forward. Economically, it makes more sense to replace toilet. Formulated investment options ranging from repairing toilet immediately today, to us replacing toilet with toilet we acquire and to customer purchasing new toilet and having us come out to install. Customer will make decisions and contact us with direction. Thank you for choosing Vito!
Shut off water to home and drain. Remove old water heater. Install new shut off valve, expansion tank, and water heater. Turn on water to home and light pilot. Haul away all debris and clean work area. 1YR labor warranty. 6YR manufacturer warranty.
Responded to a no-heat callback on a system installed Friday. Found the GFI tripped, which had shut down the entire HVAC system for safety. Replaced the GFI and re-ran the vinyl condensate tube to eliminate the copper connection. Heating and cooling are now operating properly. The furnace is short-cycling due to insufficient return air. Will notify the front office for follow-up.
BOILER ISSUES: customer said the thermostat was blinking, right it’s not and it’s heating properly, checked boiler found everything looks good and working properly at this time"
With this option, we will repair both toilets in home. Hallway bathroom toilet will get a new trip lever installed for proper operations. Bedroom bathroom toilet will receive a new fill valve to increase flushing power and decrease wait time for tank to fill. Both repairs will be combined into a Minor Tank Rebuild to keep customer costs down. Examined area of concern by customer. Hallway bathroom toilet has a broken trip lever, causing customer to pull flapper chain to flush when used. Bedroom bathroom toilet has a faulty fill valve that requires replacement. Gave customer investment option with tasks individually priced. Bundled tasks into 1 option as a Minor Tank Rebuild to give customer investment lowest cost possible. This option covers both toilet repairs and gives customer investment lowest more discount than applying a Senior Citizen discount. Customer authorized repairs and I acquired materials from truck. Removed piece of handle in hallway bathroom toilet and installed new Ko

Work Performed: Began by shutting off water at the angle stops to the faucets. Three of the angle stops began leaking, so the main water supply to the house was shut off. Drained the lines and removed the old faucets. Removed the P-trap and old pop-up assemblies, cleaned the installation areas, and installed the new faucets and pop-up assemblies per manufacturer specifications. Replaced three (3) leaking angle stops. Turned the water back on and tested all connections. No leaks were found. Toilet Inspection: Inspected the toilet and found heavy calcium buildup in the jet holes. Attempted to clear the calcium deposits, but buildup was too severe to restore proper flow. Recommended replacement of the toilet due to age and mineral buildup. Also noted that the toilet seat is broken and should be replaced. Completion: Cleaned up th

FALL MAINTENANCE ON ONE UNIT. Upon arrival after calling for heat the system shut down twice within a ten minute period. I checked to make sure that the circulator pump had voltage going to it, and also running. The pump is pulling .71 amps. Made sure all valves were open. I cleaned burners to make sure they weren’t closed. I adjusted gas pressure a slight bit and cut the unit back on. After adjusting gas pressure the system ran fine without any issues. However the water pressure is a little too high. Pressure reducing valve is fairly new and it works, so he back flow prevent or is also in good shape. Expansion tank is okay. The pressure relief valve is corroded and may be an issue in the future. I checked all wiring and connections to make sure they were intact. I checked all limits and safety’s and found functioning properly. I wanted to note that the drain valve on the boiler is leaking once u upon it. I was not able to take out water from the boiler even after tightening valve. T

I also noticed the water heater has a lot of settlement at the bottom, making noise when fired up old system working at this time I recommend a replacement of both systems, including the water heater due to age and performance. Customer would review proposal and call back when ready.

Arrived on site for an emergency call. The customer reported that her water heater was leaking. She showed me the area of concern and explained that earlier today our team had completed work on the gas line. After the gas line work was done, they relit the water heater, and shortly after, they noticed water leaking heavily from the T&P (temperature and pressure) relief valve. Upon further inspection, I found that the expansion tank was punctured and the T&P valve had tripped. I explained to the customer that the gas line work performed today would not typically affect the operation of the water heater. I also noted that the water heater was manufactured in 2011, making it approximately 14 years old. I took time to explain how the T&P valve functions and how a failed expansion tank can cause it to discharge. I then provided the customer with several options, ranging from replacing the T&P valve to installing a brand-new water heater. The customer stated that she would discuss the opt

Kitchen sink in my Condo blocked. Vito gave cost range of $250 -$350 when scheduled (condo & Bethesda norm).Tech quoted $795 on arrival and then 'discounted' to $525 which I accepted. As longtime customer I expected priority cost treatment - not onsite negotiation. Tech was professional in the easy 1/2 hr job. Too costly.
Excellent service
Excellent Service

Found cause of water leak.
Andrew was excellent in all respects. He was timely, respectful, friendly, excellent at his work, could explain the problem to me and could recommend a rational solution. He did not try to "sell" me on one particular path to a solution. He gave me room to make up my own mind. I appreciated that. We are continuing to work together to fix my heat pump.
