2024 Carrier Furnace/AC Split System 2015 Carrier Heat Pump System Service Overview: Performed routine maintenance and system inspection on both the 2024 Carrier furnace/AC split system and the 2015 Carrier heat pump. A full diagnostic check was conducted on both systems to assess overall performance, system components, and indoor air quality. 2024 Carrier Furnace/AC Split System: Visually inspected furnace and AC components; all wiring, connections, and safety features were intact and operational. Checked refrigerant levels and verified pressures were within manufacturer-specified ranges. Cleaned and inspected evaporator coil – no major buildup detected. Inspected blower assembly; motor and wheel are operating normally, though microbial buildup observed in housing area (see below). Checked drain lines and verified proper condensate flow – no clogs found. Thermostat tested and calibrated successfully. Air filters inspected and recommended replacement if not changed recently.

Arrived on site and met customer at the door she led me to her son's bathroom where he said his water felt unclean and sometimes his faucet water would turn black. The home owner described to be that it happens around the house and I conculed that since there was construction down the road for a new housing development that everyone the turned off and on the water to the street that water leached into there and discolored it. For the shower I reccomended replacing the shower head since it looks old and kinda rusty. And in her bathroom her aerator was old and black looking and would flake off black bird occasionally so I replaced that. A diagnostic inspection was performed on a 2011 air conditioning system that was reported as not cooling. Upon evaluation, the system was found to have no refrigerant present, indicating a significant leak in the sealed circuit. Due to the system’s age and overall condition, as well as the potential cost of locating and repairing the leak, it is not recommended to recharge the unit without addressing the root cause. Given that the system is over 14 years old and operating with outdated components, replacement is strongly recommended over repair. For this job I did an maintenance on 2 systems #1 basement system 2013 carrier 90 % furnace I got a split temp of 18. Evaporator coils has no signs of leakage or corrosion. Condensate line has been drained properly and is draining with no problem. 2 16x25x1 air filter has been changed provided by client. Condensate pump is running and working well with no problems. Blower wheel amps 6.5. 15 mfs capacitor reading 15. Control board is functioning well and signaling through system. All wires are intact with no obstructions found. Outdoor unit 2013 carrier. I noticed capacitor has corrosion with low mfs reading and needs to be replaced. Contactor is reading 24v but has signs of burn out and will need to be replaced. Condenser coils are dirty and needs to be chemically clean I made this my recommendations and client is aware. Compressor amps 7.14. Fan amps .70. All wires are intact and has no signs of obstructions. #2 attic Lennox system I got a split temp of 18. Evap coils ha

Arrived on site for a customer complaint regarding cloudy water coming from the lavatory faucet. The customer showed me the area of concern and stated that this issue only occurs in his wife’s bathroom. The water comes out cloudy but clears up after approximately 30 seconds. I filled a cup with water and observed the cloudy appearance. After 30 seconds, it cleared up as described. I asked the customer if any recent plumbing work had been done, and he said no, but mentioned there was a water main break in the city recently, which led to a temporary water shut-off. I performed a few tests to confirm whether the issue was due to air bubbles. The customer also mentioned that this problem existed even before the city’s main break. I tested the water and found no chlorine present, which can rule out some water quality concerns. I removed the aerator and ran the faucet again; the issue persisted. Arrivedc. Chanel grate was full. Started by snaking the line. After a while, the line wasn’t draining properly. Noticed a good amount of gunk in the drain. Used a hose and, with full pressure, cleared the line. While testing, the line backed up again. Ran the snake again and cleared the line. As of ticket completion, no backups were occurring. Arrived on site for a customer with a leaking shower head. The customer showed me the area of concern—the shower head was dripping continuously. Upon inspection, I found the Moen Posi-Temp cartridge to be faulty. I presented the customer with an investment option to replace the cartridge, which they agreed to. I began by shutting off the water to the house and draining the lines. Once drained, I removed the shower handle and trim, then removed the retaining pin holding the cartridge in place. I replaced the old Posi-Temp cartridge with a new one. I used a wire brush to clean the inside of the valve, applied plumber's grease to the valve and new cartridge, then installed the new cartridge and reinserted the locking pin. I turned the water back on and tested for proper function. As of ticket completion, no leaks were found. Arrived at my customer home for the basement system leaking water. I did a full system check and found indoor coil iced up. I turned the system completely off inspect gas, furnace, and notice lots of water running down the chamber of the 90+ gas furnace. Need to return tomorrow after system is defrost to do a full system inspection why system up and leaking water Will provide all necessary repairs option or replacement after inspection systems turned off completely at this time. I returned to my customer home after the system was defrost. I did a full system check. I found refrigerant in the equipment. I pressure test the system with 400 psi nitrogen pressure did not hold inspect indoor coil and found leak coming from indoor coil replacement coil is unavailable at this time. I recommend a replacement of the full system. Mauricio will provide pricing for replacement.

The 2023 inspection of the air conditioning system confirmed it was clean and functioning properly. All components—including the compressor, condenser and evaporator coils, blower motor, capacitor, contactor, and refrigerant lines—were operating within manufacturer specifications. Coils were clean and free of rust, electrical connections were secure, and refrigerant levels were adequate. No issues were found at the time of service. The customer was signed up for VIP membership, and payment was collected via Visa on POS.

Upon arrival customer concerns system is not cooling. Went to system and check out interior and found everything is getting power correctly. But motor is not running. Informed customer of findings and recommended add ecm surge protector to prevent this from happening again. Customer agreed to repair, will order parts for replacement. System is not operational at this time. Returned and performed repair which included the replacement of the blower motor and control board. After installing the new components, an ECM motor protector was also installed to ensure proper motor function and protection. Arrived onsite, performed plumbing inspection. Customer had 2 areas of concern - backed up kitchen sink and 2nd floor shower knob stuck/very difficult to turn. First, disconnected kitchen sink drain and snaked approximately 30 feet with K-50. Pulled back some debris. Reconnected p-trap and ran water from kitchen faucet to check for proper drainage. Filled up both sink basins with water and then released stopper as well to make sure drain is operating properly. Cleaned up work area. Next, took apart 2nd floor cold side shower knob and advised customer that the stem will need to be replaced. Will need to come back for this job. Customer will call to schedule.
