NO AC CALL: Found weak capacitor had exploded and got into contactor shorting the 24v low voltage. I replaced capacitor and contactor but compressor still would not come on. I added a hard start kit to give the compressor an extra boost to kick on and. Hosed down unit for client. Tested it and all functioned properly without any issues. Take out old defective aerator, Put in a new one test for flow: Arrived on site and met customer at the door she led me to multiple faucets all of which were working except the one in her master bathroom which had low pressure. Today I arrived on site to assess the existing system. Assessment and Recommendations: Evaluated the old R-22 fan coil system. Confirmed AC cooling is currently functioning properly. Observed a 20° temperature split. Recommended full system replacement due to age. This includes the blower, evaporator coil, and AC unit. Turn off water and drain down house Attempt to unthread the washing machine valve If unable to unthread cut open bottom of wall to expose piping Put in new washing machine valve and test for functionality Arrived on site and met customer at the door she led me to the washing machine cold side valve that needed to be replaced and she showed me outside where there irigation line had a leak in it. Gave her the quote to replace the valve and she agreed. Turned off water to the house and drained it down and tried unthreading valve. I couldn't do that so I cut open the wall underneath to see why and the reason why is because it was soldered in. Cut out soldered price and pro pressed a coupling with the new valve. Turned water back on and put on new washing machine hose. Went outside to leaking irigation line and put a rainbow and clamp on it to stop the leak until the irrigation guys come. Cleaned up inside and told the customer over the phone what I had done. Thank you for choosing V
Returned today to finish diagnosis. Found outdoor condenser coil completely clogged. The unit was also low on refrigerant. After further inspection I also noticed contactor in bad shape. After advising the client of todays findings and recommendations she has agreed to move forward with repairs and recommendations. I cleaned the coil. Added pro charge that holds leak seal and dye. And an additional lb of refrigerante was added. I replaced contactor as well. Once job was completed I tested unit and it seemed to function properly with a delta T of 20 degrees. NO AC LENNOX STRAIGHT AC FROM 2017 Found indoor evaporator coil completely iced up. Found outdoor compressor and line set also completely iced up. Unfortunately i cannot do anything about the situation except shut the system off at the thermostat and cut the fan on so the evaporator coil can start de icing. We will need to come back to do diagnosis the system once ice melts. The client is unavailable tomorrow Wednesday the 9th and only has availability Thursdays first thing in the morning at 7:00am.

NO AC CALL: 25+ yrs furnace and ac. r-22 The client advised me that the unit would not come on all it will do is just buzz. I called for the fan and the fan immediately sounded like the windings were bad. The 10mfd capacitor on the blower motor was low on tolerance and the blower motor housing and blades were filled with dirt and debris. The unit came on and ran for a little bit but then the blower would not kick on and just hum. Also the outdoor unit was not running. Only the fan came on. Checked parts such as contactor and found pitted and burnt. Checked capacitor and found low on tolerance. Hooked up mega ohm reading and compressor was drawing caution. The unit is passed it’s life expectancy and I recommended the client he replaces the unit. Also the client had an addition in his house that gets no Air flow and is considering adding a mini split system. I spoke to Moe , one of our comfort advisors and we was able to come out while I was on site to speak to the client on optio
NO AC UPSTAIRS UNIT IN THE ATTIC. I arrived on site and noticed drain pan full of water. Opened up evap coil and noticed condensate drain pan were backed up. I vacuumed out all the water first and then unclogged drain line with cartridges and then I also went to outdoor drain line and put vacuum on it as well. Most of the build up was fungus due to there not being a UV light to fight against it. I quoted client to make repair but I also recommended to her to add 1 aerus air scrubber to supply portion of the duct work. The client is a VIP member but had not yet got her annual maintenance done on both unit. The client agreed to the following work recommended. The work was completed I added condensate tablets to drain pan and drain line. I wired up air scrubber and tested unit and is now running and cooling properly. NO AC HEAT PUMP. Found burnt wire at the capacitor on the herm terminal causing compressor not to kick on. I quoted the client for the repair but I also recommended the client to replace the unit due it’s age and low performance. I advised client that the repair can be made but if the unit does not perform then changes will need to be made in the near future. The client chose to go with option #3. The work was completed wired everything back up and tested the unit. Temperatures were off and was not cooling effectively. The client is aware of the situation but is happy to have some ac. NO AC. UNIT FROM 2019 Found bad cap. Replaced it and recommended also replacing contactor due to burn marks on it making it no longer reliable. Client agreed to work and signed off. One dryer vent cleaning
System Serviced: 2015 Lennox Heat Pump System Issue Reported: Client reported insufficient cooling performance and reduced indoor air quality. Noted particular concern with upstairs airflow and system reliability during warmer weather. Findings Upon Inspection: 1. Condensate Drain Line Blockage: The condensate line was completely clogged, causing water to back up and trip the EZ Trap safety switch. This disabled the system intermittently, resulting in inconsistent cooling. 2. Dirty Air Filter: The return air filter was severely clogged, restricting airflow throughout the system. This contributed to poor air quality and diminished system efficiency. 3. Uneven Airflow: Air delivery to the upstairs area was inadequate. The issue was traced back to damper settings and duct balancing. 4. System Age & Performance Concerns: The system, installed in 2015, is now over 10 years old. For this job i did an AC maintenance on a 2021 air handler. I got a split temp of 19. EVAPORATOR coil has no signs of corrosion or leakage. Blower wheel amps pulling 1.9. 10 MFS Capacitor reading within range. I noticed air ducts being polluted with dust and will need a duct cleaning, client is well aware of this. 16x25x1 Air-filter has been replaced by client before arrival. Compressor amps pulling 2.0. Ez trap has no blockage and condensate line is draining. All wires are intact and no obstruction found.
I arrived at my customer home for a two systems AC maintenance outdoor temperature is 90+ degrees at this point customer like his/her thermostat set between 65 and 80 degrees in the home customer adjusted the thermostat five degrees below the room temperature in AC mode for me customer provided all air filters and replaced them before I arrived I flushed both indoor drain pipe check all amps and components indoor and outdoor contactor burn pitt coils needed to be clean no wet switches ez trap surge protector on the equipment I recommend cleaning the coils ez trap wet switches surge protector both systems working properly at this. Arrived. Upstairs bedroom bathroom toilet is clogging periodically approximately every 6wks. Customer has plunged toilet every time and in 6wks, same results. Gave customer investment option to use closet auger to run through toilet. Customer agreed. Existing toilet is an aged Kohler model. Made customer aware that I will be providing replacement option today. Ran closet auger through toilet trap and felt something immediately inside bowl. Went through and extended into closet bend. With this option, we will dislodge obstruction in disposal unit to restore functionality in appliance. This may or may not restore drain flow also. There is no warranty on this repair.
