Estimate for new HVAC Unit With Dual A/C & Furnace
NO AC - CALL BACK. The client advised me that since day one the unit has been acting up. Upon arrival outdoor unit was off on HPCO L2 after three trips. There’s seems to be an air flow restriction. I checked filter, vents , pressures , blower wheels, coils and found nothing out of the ordinary. I recommend the install management sends someone to find out exactly what’s going on, wether it’s the size of the air handler or simply just small duct work? Me and other techs have came and have not been able to figure out problem. I will let office know to schedule install management to give the client a call. No charge as of today.
Scope of Work will include the following for one water heater and one boiler. 1. Shut off water to buildings 221&217as needed over the course of approximately5 days. 2. Drain down buildings as needed to change out ¾”pvc ball valves with ¾”brass threaded ball valves approximately 100 valves in total. 3. Disconnect and remove approximately 20 valves per day 10 hot and 10 cold water valves. 4. Supply and install approximately 20 ball valves in ceiling from 8am to about 3pm every day. 5. Turn water back on at 3pm check for leaks, proper operations clean up and be done each day by 4pm if possible. 6. This process will be repeated daily until valves are replaced in both buildings. 7. Clean up the work areas and remove all job-related debris. NOTES: • Clear access to the home and equipment must be provided the day of the scheduled work. • All work to be performed during normal working hours (M-F) 7AM to 5PM excluding holidays • Requ
Arrived to inspect leak from ac. Found that the leak is comming from the b stack vent. It's water leaking inside the furnace and outside. Vent stack need to be repaired. Reccomend having chimney come make repairs. Owner advised me he would like the humidifier condensate line to be attached to the furnace condensate line. Vinal tubing has kinks. We will make this repair during heating maintenance. Will need 3/4t. To make adjustments. Owner advised me of upstairs not cooling as well as only one central return upstairs. Informed owner that doors should be cracked to condition the upstairs better. Rooms don't have individual returns. As well shut dampers to basement area to help push more ac upstairs. System is cooling issue is with b vent stack. Reccomend Higher chimney if they service this area.
Upon arrival, I turned on the system and pumped down the system. I then replaced the Tjhermostate with a new smart themostat. After installing the new thermostat, I checked for leaks and found none. I released the charge and checked the pressures, and the system is operational. The customer also wants to replace the dryer vent live and would like a quote.
Today I arrived on site to address the reported issue of one zone having no AC. Here's a summary of the work performed: CARRIER Unit Inspection & Repair: Found the 19-year-old R-22 system shutting down due to low refrigerant charge. Flushed the drain line to ensure it's clear. Observed a 10° temperature split. Added 3 lbs of R-22, improving the temperature split to 15°. Discovered the Thermostat was replaced with a piston, causing uneven coil cooling. Recommended system and line set replacement due to age and modifications. Additional CARRIER Heat Pump Service: Cleaned the heat pump coil with chemical cleaner. Inspected the adjacent AC unit at the owner's request. Observed good system pressures but poor subcooling. Noticed oil around the suction line and informed the owner. Recommended a comfort advisor for a unit replacement quote, considering the variable speed unit is cooling properly despite the subcooling issue. Estimate has completed work. Upon arrival customer concerns system is not working. Went to thermostat and found blank. Went to air handler and found low voltage fuse blown. After checking system throughly found wire on condenser is rubbing against copper line. Wrapped line in electrical tape and moved wire away from piping. Replaced fuse and cycled system, at this time system is operational.
Upon arrival customer concerns system is doing the same thing. Checked refrigerant and found system low again. Charged system up with procharge to seal leak. If issue returns new coil may be needed. Unable to see is system is under warrenty. Let customer know if issuse come back that coil may need to be replaced. After adding charge system is working at this time. Cut open drywall Search for a leak between the basement and first floor Arrived on site and customer met me outside. She led me inside downstairs to the basement where there was a leak coming from somewhere in her ceiling. Cut into ceiling both upstairs and downstairs to find the leak and didn't see any water coming from anywhere flushed the toilet multiple times and nothing happened. When I ran the sink a copious amount of water started pouring down. Cut into wall behind sink to see if there was a leak there and there wasn't. Put my camera in the hole and had customer run water in the sink and saw that there was water coming out of a 2"" PVC connection above the duct and into a piece of wood. Informed customer that In order for me to repair that problem I would have to get out HVAC crew to her property to remove the duct. Called our HVAC manager Nolan and he gave me a price range of around 1500-2100 to remove that duct out of the way. Informed customer of that and the work that wou

For this job I did an AC maintenance on a 2020 Rheem ac Indoor unit 2020 90% furnace. I got a 18 split temp. Evaporater coils has no signs of corrosion or leakage. I replaced 16x16 air filter provided by client. Condensate drain is draining properly. Blower wheel amp 3.72. Control board is functioning and communicating with system all terminals have 24v. All wires are intact and no obstruction found. Outdoor unit 2020 RHEEM AC. Condenser coil are filthy due to outside debri and dirt, I recommended to get a chemical lvl 1 clean and client is aware. 40/5 MFS Capacitor reading 40mfs. Fan amps reading .63 compressor amps reading 5.7 in range. All wires are intact with no obstructions found.

Arrived. Found indoor unit operating and no outdoor unit. Found bad 40/5 capacitor. Need replace capacitor. Observed both outdoor units to be dirty at this time. And should be cleaned. This is impacting unit preformance and could cause capacitors and contactor to fail. Reccomend surge protection for your outdoor units to protect this from power surges. Replaced capacitor
Arrived on site for a customer who requested her laundry valves be replaced. The customer showed me the area of concern and explained that the appliance installers had attempted to replace her washing machine but said the cold water valve wasn’t holding. I shut off the water from both valves and disconnected the supply line. Upon inspection, I found that both valves turn properly and are holding as they should. I explained this to the customer and offered to provide a quote to replace the valves if she still wanted. However, the customer declined, stating there was no need to replace them since they are working correctly. Thank you for choosing Vito.
NO AC DREAM ALLSTARS. Upon arrival the client advised me that she had canceled most of her clases for today. She advised me that the ac was not running and she wanted me to diagnose unit. Indoor unit is in the ceiling about 25-30ft in the air. The outdoor unit is on the roof. To access roof you need to go into sprinkler room and meter room and up the ladder. I went onto roof and found bad compressor and bad fan. The unit tried and tried to kick on and eventually gave out and went into internal overload. The unit is faded and no data plates and readable. Off of the looks this unit is a r-22 and r-22 is no longer in the making so that gives us a 0% chance of making any repairs. I will take as much pictures and I can and uploaded them. I will pass this on to moe , one of our comfort advisors so that he gets in touch with client and set appointment for him to come and scope out install heights , dimensions , piping , crane etc. Pictures uploaded and $120 was collected.
I arrived at my customer home for the AC not working I did a full system check and find indoor coil have a small leak customer will like to do a small repair today and will replace full system later I recommend 3 pounds of 410a and add Three pounds of 410a to the system check all amps and components indoor and outdoor ac system working at this time. I recommend a replacement of the full system $14,550.42
HVAC Parts Installation: Returned to install new control board. Removed and replaced old part with new one. After installing part cycled system at this time sister is operational. Custumer paid in advance.
