Today, I arrived on site for heating maintenance on the water source heat pump. Swapped out the wires at the contactor, ensuring black on black and white on white connections. Checked the water heater and identified two leaking joints. Found one leak on a shark bite fitting before the mixing valve. Discovered another leak near the water shut-off, both joints calcified at this time. Confirmed that the system is heating properly. Recommendations include: Replace water heater parts with copper until reaching the wall, then convert back to PVC. Address the hard-to-turn PVC shut-off valve, as it may affect system performance.
Rebuild Backflow Preventer: Replaced cover on pvb and called Dough Colella from wssc.

I checked all wiring and connections all limits and safetys found okay. I checked the EVAP coil found okay. I checked the electrical heater element and found okay. I checked the Return air temperature and supply air temperature and found within recommendation. I changed filter with one costumer provided. I checked outdoor condenser coil and hosed it down with water for the client. I checked components outside found all reliable. The only concern is that this new installed heat pump does not contain a surge protector at the disconnect box. As of right now the unit is exposed to any high voltage power surges. The unit is running and heating as needed as of now. Recommendation: Add surge protection to unit to prevent any crucial damage to components. $309.00 All pictures are uploaded to XOi the client d
