Cutting open hole in drywall and finding what's causing the moisture problem Arrived on site and let myself in the POC was telling me that he couldn't paint in the downstairs area since theres some type of moisture not allowing the paint to settle. Cut open drywall in ceiling and felt around and felt a cast iron stack with water on it. Traced the pipe and it's right below the bathroom. Called POC back and told him our comfort advisor Chris would have to come out to give him a price on replacing that stack and cutting all the wall out to get to it. POC is friends with Michael and will hash out the payment/billing with him Thank you for choosing Vito
System Type: 2011 Carrier Furnace / AC Split System Date of Service: [Insert Date] Technician: [Insert Name] Inspection Findings: 1. System Operation: The air conditioning system is currently operational and providing a temperature differential (Delta T) of 18°F, which is within acceptable cooling performance parameters. This indicates the system is still capable of removing heat effectively at this time. 2. Evaporator Coil: The evaporator coil is showing signs of rust formation. While the coil is still functioning, this is an early indicator of potential future deterioration. Rust can lead to coil degradation, reduced efficiency, and possible refrigerant leaks if not addressed over time. 3. Air Filters: Two air filters were previously replaced by the customer. Proper filter maintenance is critical for airflow and system efficiency, and the replacements appear appropriate. Continued regular filter changes are encouraged (typically every 1–3 months, depending on usage and filter t

Tested capacitors, contactors, relays, and control board for proper function. Measured voltage and amperage draw on all motors (condenser fan motor, blower motor, compressor). 3. Refrigerant System: Verified system charge is within manufacturer specifications—no adjustments needed. No leaks detected 4. Airflow and Filtration: Removed and inspected air filter; replaced with new filter (MERV rating [value]) as per customer preference. Checked ductwork for signs of block
Arrived at my customer home for AC system not working. I did a full system check I found one bad blower fan motor. NO AC EMERGENCY SERVICE: The client advised me that the previous home owner changed the thermostat. However the new owner had an Ecco bee that he wanted me to replace it with. I went to air handler to look at wiring going to thermostat. There was a total of 6 wires including the C wire. I re wired the Ecco be thermostat and installed it. I programmed it and called for cooling. After a 5 minute delay the ac came on and the fan fan spun. I took temperatures and got a 20 degree delta T. The new homeowner also wanted me to install another Ecco bee thermostat for the unit on the main floor. However I advised him that we’ll have to come back for that one. The client also asked me that if the Ecco bee had a sensor that come with it and I said yes it does however it will not be necessary because it is not a zoned controlled system which will require the sensor. I quoted client for the emergency dispatch fee and also the replacement for two thermostat. Will need to return tomorrow for secon

NO AC CALL: Found bad contactor and caused short to circuit board. I also noticed condensate pump next to furnace was leaking water. I inspected outdoor unit and noticed coil filled with dirt and debris causing air flow restriction for the unit and it’ll work much hard but not perform as efficient. I advised John that the repair can be done but other things will need to be adressed as well. He has agreed to following work I recommend. The work was complete. I replaced the bad 30 amp single pole contactor and added an ecm surge protector to the indoor variable speed motor. I replaced leaking condensate pump and wired up new 115v condensate pump. And tested it with approximately 1 gallon of water and added condensate tablets to ensure proper drainage. Lastly I pulled apart outdoor condenser coil and cleaned it lvl 2. Inspected to furnace coil system in janitors closet for ac. Ac unit on roof need ladder to access. Its age raining day today. I don't believe you need a rescedual because system seems to be cooling properly at this time. Ac unit on roof may need a cleaning but temp split was 18⁰ which is good but again it's a cooler day and system not preforming in hotter conditions.
AC MAINTENANCE ON TWO UNITS #1 Top Level attic unit carrier ac from 2017 I checked the filter and found it had already been replaced upon today’s arrival. Furnace is from 2024 and ac is from 2017. I checked the indoor variable speed motor and noticed it is exposed to any high voltage power surges because it does not contain a surge protector. I checked blower amps and found to be within specs. I checked evaporator coil and found clean. I tested condensate drain pan trap with at least a gallon of water and added condensate tablets to ensure proper drainage. I check all other limits and safety’s and all wiring and conn found okay. I checked temperatures and got a delta t of 20 degrees. Helpful and professional
Hi Gregory - We are so glad to hear that you were pleased with Vito's HVAC service. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your experience ... and for the 5-Star Review!
AC CHECK ON ONE UNIT: System ran according to specs. Made sure everything ran fine, outdoor coil was rinsed. Upon inspection I noticed the cultivation of fungus inside the air handler. I spoke to client about adding an air scrubber and they agreed. I added the air scrubber and added client to annual maintenance contract for one unit. Total collected today was $1243.00 and ran the card through Vito website. Thank you for choosing vito services!
Upon arrival, began installation of a new sewage pump. Removed the lid from the pit and disconnected the existing pump by cutting it out. Extracted the old pump and prepared the new unit for installation. Applied pipe dope to the new male adapter, tightened it securely, and attached a section of pipe. Drilled a 3/16"" weep hole to ensure proper drainage. Set the new sewage pump into place, installed a new check valve, and reassembled the vent system. Connected all necessary components. Verified that the pit was fully drained and confirmed there were no leaks at the time of job completion. Cleaned the work area and removed all related materials. Thank you for choosing Vito. Note: work warranty for 1 year
Arrived on-site for a customer experiencing issues with their ejector pump. The customer showed us the area of concern and mentioned noticing water around the pit. I informed the customer that I would inspect the pump. Upon lifting the lid, I observed that the pit was full and the floats were raised, but the pump was not activating. There is a basement bathroom present. I had my helper run water from an upstairs fixture and confirmed that water was flowing into the main stack but not into the pit. The water level in the pit remained unchanged, indicating that the ejector pump services only the basement level, which is located below the sewer line. I presented the customer with an investment option for replacing the ejector pump, and she agreed. I asked whether she typically receives a bill or pays up front; she stated that she always receives a bill from Jim. I informed the customer that the pump would need to be ordered and that, in the meantime, she can continue using all upstairs
