Today, I arrived on site to assist with the installation of a customer-provided gas valve. Installed the gas valve as requested by the customer. Noted the system was using the 120v neutral instead of the 24v neutral. Discovered the w4v neutral was cut off and zip-tied away. Observed the ground wire for the gas valve was resting against the housing. Recommended ordering a control board to properly wire the gas valve back in. Informed the customer that a return trip will be necessary once the pressure switches arrive for installation and system testing.

Blower capacitor reading at 4.8 on a 5 mfd capacitor; recommended replacement as it is starting to get low. Inducer and Ignition System: Inspected inducer housing; area was free and clear. Pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Checked ignitor; ohms reading was good. Inducer capacitor measured at 3.99 on a 4; confirmed to be good. Inducer amps were also within acceptable range. Hydro-Jet Call: Found some minor root intrusions 5 feet and then at 20 feet from the ground floor toilet. Jetted those roots on out but then I looked farther down the line but this time I entered from the clean out in the front of the house. At first I could not get the camera or the jet to go past the clean out close to the street because of the roots. With a special head on the jet hose I was able to clean those roots out and now the line is clear. At a minimum I would say the clean out in the yard has to be dug up but I. reality the whole sewer from the toilet to the city line could be replaced because there are a few problems. The roots at 5 and 20 feet could almost be ignored since they did not look horrible but there is also a belly leading up and a bit past the clean out close to the house outside. Back at the major root intrusions there is a small piece of what almost looks like concrete pipe close to the street clean out and it is the two connections to that small piece of
