Not Hot Water, Price to Replace Water Heater: arrived on site for a customer who has no hot water customer showed me area of concern customer has a 80 gallon electric heater customer they notice there water wasn't heating up and today water was cold took off upper and lower element cover used hot stick and notice I have no power going to the heater went to the breaker panel and found breaker for heater placed hot sick and nothing was reading customer took apart wire nuts and tested again and have no power. customer had a electrician working in the house while on site and had him checked and confirmed that the breaker is bad recommend customer to replace that first and if they still have a issue I'll leave options to repair up to replace the heater also customer wanted to see about a water filtration system as well thank you for choosing Vito. note:48 dispatch can be credit to which options the customer picks recommendations: option 1: full electrical rebuild st:874 vip:743 op
arrived on site to a customer who will like there water heater flushed customer showed me area of concern and said it's been 2 years since he gotten the heater flushed qouted customer to flush heater and customer will get billed. connected hose and ran it outside and turned on drain valve and started flushing while flushing notice water heater is from 1998 making it a real old heater water heaters have a life span of 8-12 years if maintained properly and also notice it doesn't have a cheniny liner when customer came back to see how it was going and informed him the age of the heater and also if he was looking to get to replaced by code we will have to install a chimney liner for it to pass code. customer asked about tankless options as well and explained the difference between the two units and best options for each of customer will like to go the tankless options I recommend getting a inline water conditioner so instead of flushing the tankless every year you can flush them every 3 ye
Install New Water Heater and Valve: Arrived on site. Walked through and confirmed scope of work. Shut off water to W/H and turned off power. Drained W/H completely and removed sections of pipe. Set water heater in new pan. Installed new valves and connecting fittings. Returned water service to home and checked for leaks. Purged air from line and confirmed no leaks.
arrived. gave owner the 3 carbon monoxide detectors. removed and I stalled humidifier. installed transformer for humidifier. test humidifier. system operating normally at this time. I stalled surge protector tor to blower motor and surge protector tor to ac unit.
arrived onsite, customer informed me that Kohler single piece toilet in master bathroom is still running even after last week's flush valve seal replacement. flushed toilet multiple times to check for proper operation. no running occured during my inspection. advised customer that they can replace the fill valve and/or Aquapiston but since it stopped running customer declined further work.
New Water Heater Installation: arrived at the job site and started draining the water heater till the 80 gla that she wanted arrived. once the water heater arrives we already had the old one out. is was a little hard to get it out so to the space we had. once we made all the connections I started filling the water heater and bleeding the line. the water heater come at temp 120 so we left it there once we was done I cleaned my work area and collected all my tools. I arrived at my house for a one system heat maintenance outdoor temperature is 48 degrees and raining customer adjusted the thermostat five degrees above the room temperature in heat mode customer provided all air filters I check all amps and components indoor gas furnace working properly at this time.
upon arrival of home floor guy said that it tested the floor and didn't need dishwashers pulled out. customer said that she didn't want a full plumbing inspection . visibly checked 75 gallon gas and noticed no issues.
Running Toilet and Clogged Sink: replaced fill valve eand flapper in hall bath . if issue persists 3" toto flush valve will need to be replaced . will need to order parts
Customer Says Leak Coming From PVC Pipe In Basement: upon arrival home noticed pin hole on 3/4 cpvc tee. removed faulty pipe and replaced with new. restored water after allowing piping to cure . there are no further failures.
arrived on site for a plumbing inspection started by flushing heater while flushing inspected all plumbing in the house customer only had 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen sink tested house pressure and house pressure is at 65psi while flushing notice heater is from 1999 making it a 20 plus year old heste told customer normally heaters last anywhere from 8-12 years and if they start to notice it takes while longer for the heater to heat up is that means that the heater is slowly starting to give out and customer confirmed she was experiencing that issue gave customer investment options for the heater ans said she will get back to us finished flushing heater wrapped hose up thank you for choosing Vito.
arrived on site to locate valve that turns on the hose bib plumbing manger came out to help as well started in the basement to look notice a vlave that leads to the place where the hose bib are at also notice a copper pipe that's leaking as well turned on valve that feeds that side and not there's water going to the outside hose bibs tried locating the side hose bib and found the pipe but didn't find the shut off vlave. talked to customer to about having the pipe rebuild and she agreed started by shutting water off and drained system once drained cut out corroded section of 1" copper once out measured new piece of pipe and set in place then pressed in turned water back on and tested for leaks as of ticket completion no leaks were found cleaned up work area and all work related materials thank you for choosing Vito. note:40 day warranty for repipe customer is getting billed
I arrived at my customer home for a two system heat maintenance outdoor temperature is 72 at this time customer like her thermostat set at 68 in the home I adjust both thermostats 5 above the room temperature and heat mode customer provided all air filters I check all amp and component indoor and outdoor both system working properly at this time
Upon arrival of home I performed plumbing inspection replaced canister gasket in master bath . $175 found no other failures.
Leak In Ceiling From Bathroom: upon arrival of home noticed water marks on ceiling in dining room. explained to customer in order to properly rectify issue would need open ceiling . customer didn't want ceiling opened. checked all plumbing components above and found no visible leaks. removed shower trim plate and it was loose . was not tight against wall. noticed significant water marks inside. realigned trim cushion and tightened plate to wall. marked water marks with pencil. explained to customer that we will need to open ceiling if they get worst. customer said she will call if it gets worse . bill $128

Today, I arrived on site for heating maintenance on the Rheem furnace. Customer requested to start the humidifier. Humidifier is not opening or operating. 24v signal is clearing, but there is no fan or water flow. Replacement of the humidifier is necessary. Noticed a rubbing noise while the furnace is running. Recommended installation of a surge protector for the blower motor to protect the new blower. Checked system performance; the heating system is functioning properly at this time.

Connect Water Line From Toilet to Wall, Customer Tried to Install Bidet: upon arrival of home I noticed that the supply line to the toilet was bad. gave customer price of $170 to replace supply line. customer said it was too much and would have husband replace part.
New Water Heater Install: arrived onsite, drained and removed existing water heater. cleaned up all excess water on floor. set new unit in place and connected vent and gas piping. installed new shut off valve on cold line and ran pipe to wall hung expansion tank. connected hot line. pressed all connections. turned water back on and bled air from faucets. lit pilot and set to proper temperature. cleaned up and removed all job related debris.
I checked the three zone over 20 years old boiler and checked the burner compartment and checked the thermocouple voltage and checked the gas valve voltage and the circulation pump and customer said that the circulation pump sometimes make noise and I give recommendation for replacing that and water pressure is 15 psi and water temperature is 145 degrees Fahrenheit and checked the fill valve and backflow preventer is old it around 29 years old it has oxidized around the backflow preventer and I recommend customer need to be replaced the boiler to high energy efficiency boiler and the price for backflow preventer is$717.
upon arrival of home I noticed that the 1st floor bathroom was leaking constantly . I attempted to repair with part on truck to no avail. was able to retrieve another Kohler cartridge and install. first part may have been a bad part. restored water and checked for leaks . found no failures. cleaned work area. customer signed up for service plan.
I arrived at my customer home for a two system heat maintenance outdoor temperature is 50 degrees at this time customer adjusted both thermostat five degrees above the room temperature in heat mode for me customer provider air filters and humidifier pad #35 I check all amps and components indoor replacement air filters and humidifier pad flushed indoor 115v pump and drain do a combustion test on both systems reading 65 ppm both systems working properly at this time.
FALL MAINTENANCE ON TWO UNITS. #1 BOTTOM LVL UNIT 2023 80% CARRIER GAS FURNACE I checked the filter and found okay for now. I checked the ecm indoor blower wheel motor housing compartment for any obstructions and found none I did notice that the blower motor is exposed to any high voltage power surges by not containing a surge protector on it. I checked blower amps and found within specs. I checked the inducer draft motor and flue vent pipe and found okay. I checked inducer motor and found within specs. I checked the flame sensor and cleaned it off today. I checked the igniter reading 55ohms. I checked all limits and safety and all wirings and connections found okay. I checked and cleaned burners and heat exchanger. I checked the temperature rise and I got a return air temperature of 72 and a supply air temperature of 123. I checked humidifier found okay. I checked UV light found okay as of now. This unit is running and heating as of now. Recommendation for this unit is to add an
arrived on site for a leaking toilet customer showed me area of concern and pointed at the angle stop that is broken qoute customer to replace angel stop and customer agreed started by shutting water off to house and drained once drained removed supply line and removed old angle stop once removed pulled old feral. then sanded pipe and added new angle stop on and tighten down then then connected supply line back tried water back on to hose and tested for leaks as of ticket completion no leaks were found cleaned up work area and all work related materials thank you for choosing Vito. note:angle stop warranty for 40 days
upon arrival of home I noticed leaks coming in the basement from a riser pipe going upstairs . with the customers consent opened wall behind washer machine. found pin hole leak on 3/4 hot side . replaced piping and restored water. checked all components for leaks. customer will need a prv but is not interested in having it installed . quoted customer $525 for access and pipe repair. when customer calls back the price for prv will be $699.
