Arrived on site for a customer who had a few issues they wanted us to look at. 1st Floor – Garbage Disposal: Customer’s disposal was not working. Upon inspection, I noticed the reset button had popped out. I pressed it back in, and the disposal began to hum. Attempted to free the disposal using an Allen key, but it remained jammed and unresponsive. The disposal will need to be replaced. Master Bathroom – Toilet Running: Customer reported that the toilet was constantly running. Upon lifting the tank lid, I observed that the tank was overfilling. Diagnosed a failed TOTO fill valve. Presented the customer with investment options, and for today, they chose to proceed with replacing just the fill valve. Began by shutting off water to the toilet and draining the tank. Removed the supply line and the old fill valve. Installed the new fill valve according to manufacturer specifications, reconnected the supply line, and tested for leaks. Completion: No leaks were found upon completion. Cl
Backflow Prevention Testing: Got key to sprinkler room from the battery store man Steve who is located on the other side of the building in another unit. Tested backflow on the fire system and returned the key. I did find it necessary to flush the second check using a garden hose. The assembly passes the test. After I got back to the shop I called Chip Mathews in wssc's cross connection program and had them update they're data base to reflect the proper mailing address for future notifications.

I returned to replace the control board on the system. This is a Bluetooth-programmable communicating Rheem board, which I installed and programmed to match the system’s specifications. After setup, I tested the equipment to ensure proper operation. The blower wheel is running with good amperage, and the board is communicating properly with the system. All readings came back within normal range, and the system is operating as it should.
Arrived at location for a toilet in the men’s room on the first floor handle not working properly, the wrong handle was installed and also it was broken already and falling apart. Replaced it with a side handle for Toto toilets, check for flush and flushes well. Customer also has another toilet upstairs where they wanted me to check out. The handle itself is broken and needs replaced, but also the top Of the toilet was on the floor broken in which they would like to replace. Let the customer know they don’t sell the top of toilet separately. Customer wanted quote for Customer provided toilet and also Vito providing a toilet.
Gathered info for a backflow installation and also refered to outside sources for info.
Upon arrival, the client showed me that the thermostat was not communicating with the system. After inspection, I found the system was off. I called for cooling and recorded a 4°F temperature split using my thermometer. I then turned off the system and checked the air filter. The filter was replaced to eliminate any airflow restrictions. System Info: 2015 Carrier Heat Pump Next, I inspected the outdoor unit and found the following issues with the electrical components: Capacitor (40/5) was reading only 27 µF, which is significantly below the required rating. A weak capacitor can cause the compressor and fan motor to struggle starting or running, which puts stress on the system and can eventually lead to compressor failure. Contactor was in poor condition, showing signs of wear and pitting. This can cause intermittent operation or system failure due to poor electrical contact. Corrective Action: I replaced both the capacitor and the contactor. After replacing the components, I use

Arrived on site for a customer experiencing a backed-up sink. The customer showed me the area of concern and explained that when running water in the left sink of their double vanity, water would back up into the right sink. I ran water and confirmed that the sink was backing up. I provided the customer with an investment option to snake the sink, which they agreed to. The customer also enrolled in our VIP program. I returned with a drain snake, disassembled the P-trap, and began snaking the line. After snaking approximately 15 feet, water stopped backing up, indicating the clog was cleared. I pulled the cable back and found nothing on the head. I snaked the line again to confirm and once again pulled back a clean cable. Reassembled the drain, tested for proper function, and confirmed there were no leaks or backups. Cleaned up the work area and removed all work-related materials. Dryer vent cleaner: Cleaning of residential dryer vent system. Encludes removal of lint and debris from the entire duck run and connection points. Customer needs to replace theflexible duct material because it's causing blockages from debris and dust, which would lead to future clogs very fast.

Customer called regarding a leak in the shower that's affecting the kitchen area below. Customer showed me the area of concern, and informed me that her handyman had already opened the ceiling and re-caulked the shower. I first ran water in the master bathroom shower, then went downstairs to inspect—no leaks were found at that time. Next, I went to the truck to grab a wing plug, plugged the shower drain, and filled the shower up to the caulking line. When I went back downstairs, I observed water starting to drip through. After draining the water, I inspected the caulking and noticed some spots were missing. I was also able to easily remove the caulking, indicating it either hadn’t dried properly or the wrong type of caulk was used. I explained the situation to the customer and provided investment options. Today, the customer chose to proceed only with the leak detection service. Thank you for choosing Vito!
Arrived on site to look at a kitchen sink that is backing up, ran water for about 10 minutes but no backup, went into the basement and found the line in question, stopped the water and opened the line via a clean out, ran the snake down the line 3 times with different heads but could not get past 10 feet down the line, ran a camera down the line but could not see anything, found the 10 ft spot and located it, spot in question is inside a storage area under 121 and 133
Customer wanted a booster pump checked out that was leaking after hours, called the customer beforehand and found out some of the details involving the pump, cannot rebuild the pump and pump needs to be replaced, arrived early to get exact specifics for the pump, got a pump ordered, pump should arrive sometime early next week
After troubleshooting: Need to replace the control board and the transformer
For this job I replaced gas valve and control board. we found defective board after install. We will have to use old board until new board arrives. We tested for heat and it worked properly, we also tested for cool and it works properly. We will return when parts get delivered
Arrived onsite, performed plumbing maintenance. Customer had a few plumbing issues/areas of concern. Powder room Kohler bathroom toilet running, recommended replacing the fill valve, canister gasket, and Aquapiston. Offered major toilet rebuild as opposed to charging for the 3 tasks individually. Customer has a 2nd floor addition where a family member lives. Lavatory faucet hot side angle stop valve leaking. Recommended replacement. Lastly, 2nd floor hallway bathroom toilet flapper is in poor condition. Offered flapper replacement complimentary if customer goes with Option #4 which includes all tasks. Customer informed me that he does not want to go through with the work today
No Heat Call: Inspected gas furnace from 2006 units components is failing to start gas furnace
Arrived on site for a leaking valve on the washing machine. The customer showed me the area of concern and explained that a new washing machine had been installed. After running the washer, she noticed water on the floor. Upon inspection, I confirmed the leak was coming from the valve. I presented the customer with investment options, and she decided to proceed with replacing the leaking valve today. I began by shutting off the water to the house and draining the system. Once drained, I removed the supply line and unthreaded the old boiler drain. I then taped and doped the threads on the new shut-off valve and tightened it down securely. After installation, I turned the water back on and tested the new valve. As of ticket completion, no leaks were found. I cleaned up the work area and removed all work-related materials. Customer called in and reported that the pipes were banging every time the shower was used. The customer showed me the area of concern—an attic that had been converted into a bathroom with a shower. I began testing but could not initially get the pipes to bang. The customer mentioned that when the valve is turned to a certain angle, water begins to spit out and the pipes bang. Additionally, a new tapping noise has started, which the customer’s daughter can hear while water is running. I asked the customer to show me the water heater and tested the water pressure. The pressure was at 41 PSI, which is not particularly high, but considering the height of the house, it seemed low. I tested again at a hose bib, and the pressure remained at 41 PSI. I checked the basement to ensure no valves were turned off or halfway off—everything was fully open. Back in the bathroom, I tested the system again. When opening and closing the lavatory faucet quickly, I could hear the pipes around the show
Arrrived on site and met with customer she led me to her bedroom where the toilet was clogged. Used my plunger first to see if it was a local clog and it went down immediately. First, Kevin, the technician that checked my equipment was excellent. I would request him again in the future. That said, the overall experience was less than excellent. I was told the technician would arrive between 8:00 and 5:00 on July 10. The fact that you can't give a shorter arrival estimate is frustrating. At 4:00, I called the office because no technician had arrived. No one answered so I left a message. When my call was returned, I was told no one would come that day and needed to reschedule for July 11. The fact that no one proactively called me to tell me I didn't need to wait anymore on July 10 is infuriating.

Brandon did an excellent job at flushing out the sediment from my 13 year old hot water heater. This particular job was more complex than in previous years as the sediment did not come out as expected. Aaron was sent out to take a look at a failed instant hot water combination unit. Was very knowledgeable on how they work, how it could be fixed and the economics on whether it was worth fixing or not. Paris was great, very respectful, listened carefully, made sure to put covers on his shoes, opened the furnace and within a couple of minutes noticed a loose wire which he secured and everything started fine again. No charge because we have a maintenance plan with Vito!

I think that the $1300 quoted initially to remove the existing drain and replace it and the p trap is pretty extreme. And I had a replacement pop up drain I provided on site. The tech removed the drain (which was main issue) for $300. Which means your company was asking for $1000 to replace the slip and p trap (in PVC no less). That’s really outrageous. HOWEVER The tech was very respectful and courteous on the phone
